I-75 north in Florida to Hwy. 136 exit, east to White Springs (about 3 miles). At hwy. 41 intersection (blinker light), take right about 3 miles out of town until you see Agricultural Check Station. Trailhead is right across US41 from check station (you will see kiosk).

Trail Description:

Intermediate singletrack built by Suwannee Bike Association, lots of fun!! Tight in some areas,with lots of great scenery at Gar Pond. Look out for spiders in the summer months.

Go south to San Felasco or Razorback.
Try the posted section that runs along the river(The Florida Trail). It's pretty fun although it hasn't been cleared in a while and you may get shot in the process.

Review:

Flat and fast, not much for technical except the last 1/2 mile stretch parallel to the road. Well maintained but overall kind of boring.

Gar Pond is a great ride... All of the trails up and near White Springs are wonderful... Novermber is the Fat-Tire Festival, which I love to attend. January is the IDIDARIDE.. 50 mile ride... Check out my website for more info about trails in Florida:

HWY 41 NORTH TO INSPECTION STATION BEFORE SUWANNEE RIVER

GO ACROSS HWY 41 AND FOLLOW DIRT ROAD TO LEFT THAT LEADS UNDER THE BRIDGE.TRAIL IS ALONG RIVER.GOES SEVERAL MILES.ENDS AT CAMPGROUND ON SUWANEE RIVER.

Review:

ABOVE AVERAGE TRAIL,GOOD SCENERY.MOSTLY FLAT,DONT FALL INTO THE SINKHOLE.GOOD COURSE FOR GOING FAST AND SLIDING THROUGH TURNS.WATCH THE ROOTS.YOU CAN BUST IT GOOD!
