From the west side of Panama City Beach Take Back Beach Road to Hwy 79 North. Go Approx 15 miles and trail will be on the right. There is a $2 parking Fee |
Trail Description: |
This is a 9 mile loop with a short cut option near mile marker 2. The trail is 98% single track with about 2% forest service road. The trail goes through pine forest with some thick under brush. The trail surface is entirely of sand. Every time I have riden the trail it was during or just after heavy rain and much or the trail was under water but it does not have much effect your bike much as the trail is sand not mud. There are some roots in the trail near the begining but not bad. The correct way to ride the trail is to take the trail to the left when leaving the parking lot. |
