A Word from the Manufacturer

Helmet lights let you see into corners, anticipate climbs, and look down drop-offs. But they don't create shadows behind rocks, ruts, etc., so used alone, "reading the terrain" and judging depth is very difficult. Handlebar lights do create shadows, but their beam - no matter how bright or wide - shines only where your bars are pointed.

For off-road riding, you really want both. TurboCat DualSource systems include: a 10 or 15 watt spot-beam helmet light and a 15 watt flood-beam handlebar light, along with 2 batteries and 2 chargers for $305. Add aluminum quick release to the handle bar mount for $15.

NOTE: Racers can qualify for extreme savings on extra batteries, bulbs, etc., through the TurboCat "Racer Support Program." For details, check the company's website at www.turbocatusa.com.

A TurboCat DualSource system is the most effective way to spend your lighting $$. On singletrack, it will outperform any handlebar dual-beam. But if it's mega-watts you want, check out our S47.
