from Kristiansand, Norway Date Reviewed: February 15, 2008 | | Favoriate Trail: | Kjaerrane i the south of Norway | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Purchased At: | My stash dealer | | Strengths: | Stiff, well equipped, plush suspension, good looking. | | Weaknesses: | None so far. | | Similar Products Used: | Giant hartail with XT, Mavic 717, Formula ond Fox Float X 100 for the last few years. But various FS tested occationally. | | Bike Setup: | Standard setup: 2008 XT brakes and drivetrain. Mavic Crossmax ST. Fox RP23 and Fox Talas RLC. Schwalbe Nobby Nic (or Albert) tires. Only personal upgrade are my sweet Spezialised S-works XR carbon riser bars. | | Bottom Line: | I pedals wery well, as well on extreme technical trials as on the road to work. The Talas fork can be adjusted, 100mm, 120mm and 140 in seconds. 100mm fork and the shock in full propedal, real stable om the roads. 120mm or 140mm (depending om the terrain) and the shock full open on the trail.
