Description:The Revelation model is designed for the purpose of cross country racing. Keeping the travel to three inches allows this bike to be lighter and more efficient for serious racers. The Concentrak suspension design also keeps the rider from experiencing pedal kick back over bumps.

Date Reviewed: January 28, 2008
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Price Paid: $2700.00
Purchased At:factory
Strengths:Great bike! Very light (XT kit)and very fast. Turns on a dime. It feels like 100% of my pedal stroke goes straight to the back wheel.
Weaknesses:Pivot bushing has a bad squeak after 6 months of riding. I had it replaced and it has been flawless ever since.
Similar Products Used:Garry Fisher, Clark Kent, Yeti
Bike Setup:XT | Hayes | DT Swiss XR1450
Bottom Line:If you are looking for a great cross country bike, you won't regret this purchase!

Favoriate Trail:Around Santa Cruz
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:This bike is light, pedals well, can be singlespeed with out chain tensioning device.
Weaknesses:Decals, but to be fair I tape things to my bike in endurance races so any decal would chip off with the tape.
Similar Products Used:Giant NRS air, NRS 3, Psycle werks wild Hare, Rockhopper
Bike Setup:Reba, and American classics, Stronglight 2x9,
low 29-32 High 44-11
Bottom Line:This bike ripps, if you lose dont blame the bike, blame your lack of preperation. Really this bike has everything anyone could want in a bike, simple service, fast, and awesome looking.
Dont buy this bike if you are just going to fart around on some trails. Although it could take decades of riding.
This bike is a pure bred race steed, and therefore would be unhappy spinning up climbs, it wants to be hammered.
I have tried to justify buying a new bike, but can't.
