Bike Setup:heavy and chavy lookind
Bottom Line:rubbish you very limited with what you can do on this heavy machine.slow its bad at climbing, cross country and even light trails it cant handle the pace people on cheaper bikes have rode faster than me.it is not very nice to look at its heavy and plastic.go for marin they are better. i rode of a small curb and had a hairline fracture on the carbon frame.

Date Reviewed: October 1, 2007
Favoriate Trail:Skeggs
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $2000.00
Purchased At:eBay
Strengths:Frame only. Carbon. Light, stiff, active and effective travel, travel adjustments.
Weaknesses:Expensive. Unavailable in U.S. My riding partner cared about the bike when I fell. Cable guide bolts get rusty.
Similar Products Used:Scott Scale Ltd, Titus Racer-X, Litespeed Niota, Cannodale Scalpel, Specialized Stumpjumper FSR
Bike Setup:Fox 32 F100 RLC, American Classic MTB26 Sapim, XTR M960 drivetrain, XTR ST-M965 shifter, Ritchey WCS headset & stem & seatpost, XTR M959 pedal, Panaracer Fire XC Pro 2.1
Bottom Line:Light and solid frame. I am 200 lbs, probably outside the sweetspot of this frame, but it makes me feel crusing and in control in trails. Complete bike everything is 23 lbs which makes uphill easier. Good geometry has front tire stick to ground. Stiff frame makes high-speed downhill confident. Excellent DT dual-barrel rear shock provides active and comfortable travel. Handlebar switch allows easy full, med, and lockout controls. Minor thing bothering is the cable guide bolts get rusty quickly. Should have used Ti or at least stainless bolt with this price. It's same thing with my Ranson Ltd.
