Favoriate Trail:Bonelli
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $1000.00
Purchased At:Jenson's USA
Strengths:This bike is very agile. It's really easy to turn which is great for the beginner that i am. It's a blast downhill and climbs very well. I actually pass people going uphill.
Weaknesses:Manitou Forks. OG tires weak.
Similar Products Used:None
Bike Setup:Upgraded to Avid BB7 discs. New Manitou Axel Elite front forks w/ travel adjustment up top.
Bottom Line:I've had this bike for 5 months now with currently 653 miles on the clock. within the first 100 miles the forks completely gave out, oil everywhere. since still under warranty they replaced them free, but still seem to be spongy even in lock-out. i immediately upgraded the brakes, which are great. i love this bike. i will buy another fisher product, but one with better components and less bontrager billboards.

Favoriate Trail:"Ow Ow" trail in my woods
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $1149.00
Purchased At:Cross Country Sports Houghton
Strengths:Trouble free so far, cushy ride with nice control going fast on downhill trails. Climbs well. standard front fork has a easy to reach lock out dial that provides rebound control when partially turned. Rear air shock has a semi easy to reach rebound control.
Weaknesses:rear brake cable rubbing on the carbon rear fork. I need to get a bandaid on that soon.
Similar Products Used:my son's Cannondale Prophet 400
Bike Setup:All stock except I had the dealer switch out the clipless pedals to the old fasioned toe clips. I'm not a racer (yet) and have used toe clips for over 30 years with no problems. No need to change shoes just to go for a spin.
Bottom Line:I've only used it a couple weeks, but since there is only one other report, I thought I'd get one out to back up the previous good report. This bike really smoothes out the roots, holes, fallen branches and makes it easier to jump the smaller of the deadfalls we have on all the woods roads around my place. It handles tight turns and changes in slope at least as well as I can.

Strengths:I think for an entry level bike it is a great deal... You can ride this bike probably until you out grow it... I think for what it is... Great deal...
Weaknesses:Cable Routing, Bad choice in location..
Bottom Line:Well, For the money. You can't go wrong ! I know I enjoy the heck out of it and it's is totally upgradeable ....I have put around 108 miles on mine in the last three months...So far so good...
