$650.00 | | Purchased At: | Second Hand | | Strengths: | Very light and seems durable. | | Weaknesses: | Doesn't seem to have quite the forward momentum on climbs that the cannondale does. no room for a water bottle. can fit it on top bar but very cramped and have hit knees on it. | | Similar Products Used: | GT, Intense Spyder, Cannondale | | Bike Setup: | Carbon seat post and handlbars, Rock shock Sid front shocks, Deore componants | | Bottom Line: | Love the bike. Only reason i would change is if I end up liking 29ers better. Doesn't have disk brakes but could be upgraded with them. However; I ride silently through the forest while my disc breaked freinds squeel the entire trail. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$4200.00 | | Purchased At: | LBS | | Strengths: | Weight, Durability, Suspension, Price, Handling, Looks, Components, XTR/X.O. do I need to say more | | Weaknesses: | Slightly steep head angle for steep descents, Rear Fox Shock had slight problems (warrantied with no issues), Tires that came on bike were slightly "chunky" | | Similar Products Used: | Santa Cruz Blur, Giant NRS | | Bike Setup: | All stock except Ritchey WCS pedals (lighter), Stan's No-Tube converted wheels (better rolling, less flats), Kenda Karma L3R tires (better rolling for races) | | Bottom Line: | This bike is just awesome, with the modifications made the bike weighs in at an unbelievable 24.5 lbs. This bike has taken everything the northeast has thrown at it and just lauphed. I use the bike for cross country and aggressive cross country races as well as endurance events. I finished 24 hours of allamuchy nearly nonstop with one bike maintenance stop that included lubing the chain and well uh, oh that's right lubing the chain (that was 100+ straight miles and anyone that knows allamuchy can attest the conditions there). I recommend this bike to anyone looking for the perfect cross country trailbike/racer/endurance machine. It has the weight of a cross country racer, the suspension of a trailbike (feels a lot more than 4 inches), and the durability to last an endurance race. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
