$550.00 | | Purchased At: | ibexbikes.com | | Strengths: | Frame and components, great value | | Weaknesses: | Rear Shock, but considering the price it is really hard to complain. | | Similar Products Used: | Brother has an Ellsworth Epiphany not much of a comparison | | Bike Setup: | Stock | | Bottom Line: | This is most likly the best bike you can buy in this price range. It has 120mm travel 4 link frame that has great geometry. The components work well together with the exception of the rear shock. The rear shock is way to soft, I am only 5'7" 165 Lbs and I have had to crank the shock all the way down to prevent to much sag just from sitting on the bike. I have ordered a Rock Shox Monarch 4.2 to fix this problem. Other than the rear shock I love the bike. Everything seems to work well together for such a great price. If you are looking for an entry level XC/All Mountain bike look no further. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$523.00 | | Purchased At: | direct from manufacturer | | Weaknesses: | none as yet | | Similar Products Used: | Mongoose xr200 schwinn s30 mountain | | Bike Setup: | Stock with upgraded vector axis rear shock(w/ lockout) | | Bottom Line: | Totally happy with this bike. I've had it for 3 months now and I've taken it on every type of terrain imaginable here in Florida.. from sand to rocks to roots; and everything in between, it has easily taken me over every obstacle.
It is also very sturdy. in the begining I wrecked a number of times and the bike just keeps goings. It's a great entry level bike thats perfect for a beginner.
The Ibex customer service is very helpful if you run into any problems too. One of the best descisions i've made was to purchase this bike. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$330.00 | | Purchased At: | Ebay | | Strengths: | Excellent Value! Great starter bike for anyone interested in XC and Trail Riding. | | Weaknesses: | Shocks, both front and rear...but considering the price I paid, you really can't call it a weakness. | | Similar Products Used: | none | | Bike Setup: | All stock except Shimano M520 clipless pedals and bought an upgraded rear shock. | | Bottom Line: | The experience I have had with Jack (the owner) and Will (Jack's right hand man) have been unbelievable. I will buy from them again and again. I am already looking at getting a Asta Pro when the 2007 model come out. The customer service is second to none with these guys. That was definitly a concern buying on the internet. I have no complaints whatsoever. They put out a great product and also provide you with customer service poaralled by few.
