    Date Reviewed: July 20, 2007
    Favorite Trail:Big Water
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $2800.00
    Purchased At:RBikes.com
Strengths:Smooth ride, tight feel, beautiful build.
    Weaknesses:Can't use SRAM front derailer.
Similar Products Used:Dean BAJA 4x5FS, Giant Trance, GT STS
Bike Setup:SRAM XO, Fox RP23, Fox Talas, Thompson, Formula K24 brakes, DT Swiss 1540 wheelset with Conti tubeless
Bottom Line:Extrememly pleased with smooth ride and zero bob climbing with Fox RP23 and propedal. Tracks well and feels really solid. Easy to swith bike between 4 inch and 5 inch, even though as a cross country rider not sure if I'll use 5 inch much. At this price point, compares with Turner, Ellsworth, and Santa Cruz, but has the benefit of titanium and a very light weight, plus may be a better suspension design. Blast to ride, great climber...did I mention smooth. As for whom to buy from, never go anywhere other than RBikes.com! Ask for Mike, unbelievable support and service with very quick turnaround. Price is for frame only.

Favorite Trail:Wales in UK (red bull trail)
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $5000.00
    Purchased At:Ciclo Guiyi Costa Rica
Strengths:Light, easy to ride fast, comfortable, great looking.
Weaknesses:Price, front fork, Im still dialing it to get the perfect setup for me.
With the Lefty I had , it was perfect from the first ride.
Similar Products Used:Cannondale Scalpel Sobe, Cannondale Super V 700
    Bike Setup:Titanium frame
All XT, RP3 in the rear Fox 100 in the front
carbon firber handlebar , titanium seat.
    It weights 23 pounds
Bottom Line:Super fun bike to ride, makes it much easier to do everything, technical climbs, descends, for sure makes you less tired, I dont know if it is the overall smoothness of the bike or the weight, but I noticed at the end of the day.

Turns quick and feeld featherweight on the single track trails, the rear shock RP3 its awesome!!!
If you have the money buy it!!!!
Dont take money with you to the grave

    Date Reviewed: May 10, 2004
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $4690.00
    Purchased At:colorado cyclist
Strengths:the bike it self is wonderfull or at least what little i got to ride it that i could tell. please what ever you do, do not give colorado cyclist any of your hard earned money. i recived an unrideable bike from them and there customer service for such an expensive bike has been pathetic. they sent the bike out with the wrong size seat tube, a broken cable housing, and there next day air replacement took 4 days to arive, then after i started riding the beautify crafted titainium frames jem, enjoying the plushness of 5 inches of sweet travel, to my horor i started noticing noise from my front derailleur. upon close inspection i had found that the swingarm was hitting the shift cable. colorado cyclist had put the wrong derailleur on a five thousand dollar bike! the bike is going back to them tomarrow. it is truly sad as it was a hard desision to spend that much money on a bike, and i hate to see it go but i cant in good faith give my hard earned money to a company that treats it customers like crap and will not compensate me for my agrivation, exspence and down time for there multiple screw ups. on the upside litespeeds customer service has been top notch.
    Weaknesses:poor assembly from the dealer
Similar Products Used:i am curenly riding a 11 year old cannondale
Bike Setup:i had them put the minuite one fork on it and other than not having the right spring for my weight it is a great fork.
Bottom Line:the bike is beautiful, i would love to own one, it is so unfortunate that after waiting so long to get a new bike, that an experiance with a crapy dealer is going to make me wait even longer. as my 11 year old canondale has full xtr, it was a small let down to accept xt componets. since i have to send the bike back and try to purchace from a competent dealer i may upgrade to full xtr.

the bike is great, colorado cyclist sucks. and thats the bottom line.
