The tires simply perform better than you would expect for a lightweight low-knob tire. They are excellent in hardpack conditions.
I'm not sure about the other review on the 1.9 LK as I've been training on these tires in Downieville and if there is a course that shreds tires, Downieville's baby heads and downhill qualifies! I haven't suffered a tear, tire leak of any problems. They do not hook up as well on loose climbs or corner as well as more agressive tires in the loose shale, but that's the trade-off for a tire that weighs significantly less (.3 lb per tire).
If you're riding primarily hardpack to loose and looking for a high performance lightweight tire, look no further. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Lots of it, compared to other tubeless tires.
