$30.00 | | Purchased At: | Chain Reaction Cycles, Chch, NZ | | Strengths: | Very light tyre for tubeless. 1.75" size is closer to 1.9". Even in light mud, this tyre is great for climbing with the right air pressure. I have raced on these tyres for over a year, with no inclination at all to take them off my race bike. | | Weaknesses: | None so far, hasn't punctured or cut up like my previous Michelin's did. | | Similar Products Used: | Michelin Comp S Lite UST. | | Bike Setup: | Marin Alpine Trail, 2003 SID's, Mavic CrossMax UST, Fox Float ProPedal, Truvativ Stylo Team Cranks. | | Bottom Line: | If you want a good multi-purpose XC tyre, that will resist punctures (I run Stan's too), is very light weight for UST, and rolls nicely while providing surprising levels of grip, go for it. This tyre makes other offerings that cost 30-40% more look silly. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
