Description:When Phil Wood sought a manufacturer to produce their now famous Piss Off titanium singlespeed, they came to Independent Fabrication. To reach their goal they needed to team up with a progressive titanium framebuilder with some of the highest standards in the industry. When they said We want the highest quality titanium frame available, we gave it to them, creating the most sought after singlespeed frame ever made. The chassis is based on our Ti Deluxe platform, and just like the Piss Off, our Ti Deluxe Singlespeed (with the disc brake upgrade) comes with a Phil Wood Eccentric Bottom Bracket (EBB). We also manufacture our own custom forks in house, so you can opt to have a rigid, suspension adjusted, disc brake equipped fork made to mimic the build height and offset of almost any suspension fork you desire. This bike is shown with an IF rigid disc fork that is adjusted to the build height of a 100mm travel suspension fork and painted to match the frame.

    Favoriate Trail:San Juan
    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $3800.00
    Purchased At:Rock n Road Cyclery
    Strengths:Handling and Craftsmanship
    Weaknesses:Paint Durability.
Similar Products Used:Gary Fisher Rig 29er, Surley 1x1 26 wheel, Redline Monocog 26 wheel
Bike Setup:Mary Bars, Avid Carbon Hydraulic Brakes, Thompson Post & Stem, Chris King Hubs, Salsa Diablo 29" & 26" wheels, DT Swiss Triple butted spokes, Race Face Dues 180mm cranks, XT Bottom Braket, Phil Wood EBB, Rock Shox Reba Fork.
Bottom Line:All IF's are custom, so need I say more. This bike was made with a 29" front wheel and 26" rear. The bike goes where you point it, so the handling is outstanding. I prefer the 26" rear for quicker exceleration and it's easier to turn over on the long climbs. The steel frame has enough give to soak up the light bumps.

    Favoriate Trail:Stewart, NY
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Price Paid: $5750.00
    Purchased At:Sid's Bike Shop
Strengths:Fantastic fit, welding is artwork, finish (shot peened Ti) is beautiful, custom steel fork makes a full rigid ride as plush as possible. Can ride for hours on end and days in a row and there is no physical wear and tear on the body
Weaknesses:Price and stickers tend to chip easily on the shot peened Ti
    Similar Products Used:Bianchi SISS
Bike Setup:32x19 for Ultras, 32x17 for XC, Mavic Crossmax SLs, Eccentric bottom bracket w/ Phil Woods BB, White Industries ENO Cranks, Thomson seat post and stem, Chris King headset, Jones H bars and Avid Juicy 7 brakes.
Bottom Line:If you have the cash there is no better ride to throw a leg over. If the budget is tight skip the beers during the week to save the money needed, nothing beats this ride!
