$550.00 | | Purchased At: | Online through Ionic | | Strengths: | Steel is real, stiff BB, light frame, cool down tube, sweet paint job (simple solid orange but looks great). People at Dean took great care of me when I ordered and when I broke the frame at the rear dropout. They reparied it and re-painted it quickly so I wasn't with out my SS for long. Top notch service from Dean USA | | Weaknesses: | none | | Similar Products Used: | Hairy Gary steel geared frame, Guru Altec 2 road bike, 6 Gary Fisher Pro Calibur (broke one each year of racing) Red Line conquest pro cross bike, Marozzochi forks, Race Face, Mavic Rims, Chris King hubs and head sets, Paul components hubs.....etc | | Bike Setup: | XL frame, team orange, Thomson stem and post, Selle Italia SLR saddle, Chris King head set, Race face bars, BB and cranks, Paul Components Hubs, Mavic 519 rims, Crank bros pedels, Z2 80mm fork, XTR rim brakes and levers, ACS freewheel and Sram chain | | Bottom Line: | This bike is so fun to ride. Frame is stiff yets doesn't kill me like Alum. does on my back. I have a hard time riding my custom geared bike over this one which I paid a bunch more money on. If you like to get into single speed this is the frame to buy. Not to expensive and you still get great quality and service. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
