$735.00 | | Purchased At: | all the right gears | | Strengths: | awesome bike, great frame, a little heavy but great geo, amazing part spec considering the price. single speed is great, and perfect gear ratio for me to.brakes are great quaiity, forks are pretty good, only a little heavy, and the 2008 paintjob is amazing!!!!
| | Weaknesses: | i've heard the rims bend pretty easy, and the tires weight as much as a fright train. get some swalbe table tops, or kenda small block 8's and it'll be fine.
| | Similar Products Used: | norco wolverine, norco rival, norco havoc, p2 crmo | | Bike Setup: | 2008 stock setup, soon to have swalbe table top tires, atomlab lite rims, and next year to save a little weight i might get some odessy wombolt cranks.
| | Bottom Line: | great bike, buy it, but make sure that the cost of new rims are in your budget becuz its a guarranty that they will bend to the point u cant ride it.so amke room for 100-200$ for some upgrades overtime and it'll be perfect! the geo is so awesome i did my first wheelie ever first try!! pretty long to, i'd have to say 20ft. and on the jumps it handles even better, i've been dirtjumping for about a month almost now and can already do a no footer, one hander, tristar, and working on a few others all becuz this bike makes everything i try so effortless. overall buy this bike now!!!! but be sure to have 200$ tucked away for future necessary upgrades like rims.this bike hanles and performs as well as a bike worth twice as much. and the frame is a bombproof tank that can take anything, and the steel also absorbs more vibrations than aluminum.i'll post back in a few months to see if the rims lived up to there less than outstanding reputation. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

Its my fault, so its not really a weakness. | | Similar Products Used: | GT Moto, Azonic Steelhead, Specialized P.2, Cannondale chase 3 | | Bike Setup: | Neon green lizard skin grips and a tan odyssey seat. | | Bottom Line: | Okay, I got this bike yesterday and have only ridden it for about four hours. They were a really hard four hours though. I took 5-6 ft. drops, 8-9 ft. gaps, and it handled them perfectly. No flex, NO NOTHING. I love this freakin thing. This is actually my first singlespeed mountain bike. I really don't want to go back to gears. It has perfect gearing for me, so its perfect in general. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

When it comes to pushing boundaries, some riders prefer to push in completely new and different directions--not just further in an established direction. Trying new terrains, blending different styles, and expanding the collection of tricks are all primary motivators to this crowd of idolized misfits. Whether riding streets, in skate parks, at the dirt jumps, hardtail freeride, or urban assault, the common needs are simple: tough bikes, built to be stable and predictable. No fluff. No sparkly stuff. Just bomb-proof rides that mix advanced technology with top-shelf materials--all standard features of any P-series bike. The P.1 can ride it all, but is most at home on the dirt, whether jumping or freeriding hardtail-style. 100% Cr-Mo frame designed for 24" rear/26" front wheels, double butted and manipulated TT/DT, internally relieved head tube with weld on rotor plate, 6mm offset rear triangle with 3D forged horizontal drop outs with disc mount (replaceable alloy der. hanger included) Marzocchi Dirt Jam Pro, 100mm "Disc" model, SSV damping, 1-peice mag. lower, Cr-Mo steer & stanchions, cold forged alloy crown, coil spring with air assist Powerful Avid BB5, mechanical disc brakes with 160mm Roundagon rotor More versatile Specialized Rhythm Sport 26x2.3", 60TPI, dual compound tyres with wire bead | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I bought this bike and bent the fork in a week, but I expected that to happen. Once I put the DJ3 and bash guard on, the bike is a sweet urban machine. So far everything is holding up just fine, and in the future I plan to upgrade the rims. I'm doing 5 stair 180's, 360's in the bowls at the skate park, and the bike is just taking all the abuse. I even overshot our dirt jumps and did about 10ft. to flat on accident and it held up fine. I highly suggest looking into this bike if you're looking for a cheap, high quality dirt jump / street rig. Frame is beefy and seeminly bombproof, components are so so, but for the price who gives a crap. All you need is to swap out the stock fork for a real fork (DJ III), change the tires (because they have awful rolling resistance), and buy a bash-guard. After that, you are set for most anything.
