    Date Reviewed: March 1, 2008
    Favorite Trail:Tsali
    Duration Product Used:2 Years
    Purchased At:CBC
Strengths:Nothing is outstanding in the category.
Weaknesses:The clamp. I have tightened it several times and it still slips when I take a big drop, causing my saddle to point up; into my groin.
    Similar Products Used:Thomson Elite
Bike Setup:Gary Fisher Ziggurat 06 Mostly stock.
Bottom Line:I have not had it slip in a few rides, but I haven't done anything major(mostly smooth XC) in a while. Avoid it. It's a poor design.

    Favorite Trail:Windsor, in Santa Fe
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Strengths:carbon looks cool
    Weaknesses:will not tighten and slips.
VERY DANGEROUS post. It slipped (even though the bolt was as tight as it could be) and I almost fell backwards onto my rear wheel.
Similar Products Used:Campy record carbon, syncros, race face, thompson
    Bike Setup:Cannondale IFG
    Bottom Line:Terrible design. Very Dangerous!

Submitted by Andrew a Cross Country Rider from Burnsville, MN
    Date Reviewed: September 10, 2006
Duration Product Used:Tested or demo'ed only
    Purchased At:Demo
    Strengths:Looks
Weaknesses:It failed (Mechanical caused several broken bones)
Similar Products Used:Thomson, Alien post, bunch of OEM junk
Bike Setup:GF Rig Rigid (Demo bike)
Bottom Line:It did its job of holding the seat over paved and gravel trail, but first 12" drop the seat detached from the post bouncing me up off the demo bike and landed square on my chest on the now naked post. Broke a few ribs in the process. I'm not a heavy weight and consider myself a fairly decent rider this failure was due to the poor design of the head locking in the rails. I checked it after the fact and after I could stand once again. The bolt was tight and every thing was toqrued down as it should of been.
