Strengths:Nice looking XC rim. Strength enough. Light enough.
Weaknesses:Decals felt off after the visit to a car wash.
    Similar Products Used:Alexrims DM18
    Bike Setup:Giant XtC,Marzocchi,Avid 7(180-160),Hone cranks with XT-LX deraileurs.Fizik.PRO.Easton.
Bottom Line:Fits bestly to the colour map of my bike. Had no problem with the ordinary XC tyres..1.95 - 2.1
I've had a problem only once. I've fitted them with 1 inch road tyres(23mm) did not manage to get enough pressure and caught a hole in the road. Hit was very hard.I finished my training and went to the local giant workshop to fix the problem.

Fully satisfied with them, except the decals that are falling off.

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $20.00
    Purchased At:www.trial-sport.ru
    Strengths:Stiff, straight, good looking rim
    at great price
better then Mavic717 for me (85kg weight)
Weaknesses:only Schrader valve in my shop
    Similar Products Used:Mavic717 Disk
    Bike Setup:Merida MATTS SE 2005
changed stock AlexRims TD17 to 717 and XD-Lite with DT Swiss Revolution spokes
Bottom Line:very good choice even for heavy rider
I'm running light X-Country, so there are no strong impacts to rims and the rim is really good, while 717 is "just enough"
