$30.00 | | Strengths: | robust wear well excellent grip able to do some dual duty cheap | | Weaknesses: | heavy not that fast
| | Similar Products Used: | IRC metro specialized fatboys continental contact sports | | Bottom Line: | these are great if durability is key and some rough paths are part of your journey
if you want faster, get some narrower full slicks

$40.00 | | Purchased At: | blackman cycles | | Strengths: | rolls fast & smooth looks robust held up well to gutters and a bit of offroad | | Weaknesses: | a bit $$ can't think of anything else | | Similar Products Used: | IRC Metros (they cracked, poor grip) | | Bike Setup: | standard Giant VT3 | | Bottom Line: | my bike flies along paths and roads, loving the smoothness and it's ability to handle rougher terrain than my IRCs. so far so good, i bashed up and down a few gutters, just ate it up, corners awesome on bitumen, hammered down a trail/stair section... no worries! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$40.00 | | Purchased At: | Bike Barn | | Strengths: | Solid construction, hard wearing and good grip on the black stuff | | Weaknesses: | None yet, unless they stop makin em. | | Similar Products Used: | none | | Bike Setup: | Never you mind | | Bottom Line: | Ever fancied turning your trusty stead into a tarmac rocket! If like me winter stuffs up your favourite tracks and turns primo rides into brown custard, grab a pair of these and hit the urban single track. This is the first time i've ever owned slicks for my treadly and would'nt be without them. Solid construction throughout with a strong kevlar bead and good sidewalls (which have taken a great deal of punishment from kerb hits etc). Performance is v good, giving great confidence and traction in all conditions, allowing you to stay in contact with whatever your riding on (which always helps). Not exactly the cheapest tire on the market but you get wat ya pay for (normally). Go on you know you want em!!!!!!!!!!!! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$20.00 | | Purchased At: | Local Bike shop- Kambah | | Strengths: | Excellent hard surface riding, puncture resistent with good grip. Fast and long wearing | | Weaknesses: | None really for what it is designed for, ie hard surface/roads & paths etc... | | Bike Setup: | who cares- Decore 27 gear | | Bottom Line: | Very pleased for what it is a path slickish tyre that wears and grips well. It resists puncturing and because of the amount of class along the paths here that a very good thing.
Very happy to recommend and I have to others. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$30.00 | | Purchased At: | River City Bikes in Clinton IA. | | Strengths: | The only off road driving I do is along some hardpacked river dikes. The traction is fine for that.
These things fly on asphalt. I run them at 70psi and add a good five MPH to my topspeed and 3mph to my average cruising speed.
| | Weaknesses: | None yet. They look like new and I've been flat free. | | Similar Products Used: | Panaracers | | Bike Setup: | stock hardtail | | Bottom Line: | I'll keep buying them as long as they keep making them. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$45.00 | | Purchased At: | Unknown bicycle Co-Op in Portland | | Strengths: | It just holds up extremly well with hardly ever any loss of tire pressure..It corners well on wet streets (A Portland Problem)..Its the most verstile road skin that withstands abuse and gives us none of the usual grief..It is a good tire. Speed on the road and responsive on the rough trails..Corners off the paths and doesnt scar from curb hits in our inner city road work.. | | Weaknesses: | I suppose if their is a weakness it is the cost of the product which is moderatly high but you get what you pay for.. | | Similar Products Used: | several | | Bike Setup: | We are the Grand avenue Boxing Club of Portland, Oregon (est. 1949)Home to 2 teams of amateur boxers and 12 professionals.. We have always and consistently used bicycles in our training program..Trainers use one of our bicycles accompaning boxers in their usual 5 miles of road work often over rough terrain..Our boxers also use our bicycles when they have foot, Knee or Shin problems from running, We have them ride hills..Using Bicycles and the reliable Geax Tires might have something to do with the consistent honors we are winning in this sport.. | | Bottom Line: | When you are focused on Boxing or rideing your bike or training for whatever, fixing tires is a loss of concentration and energy you cant afford..I wish I knew of Geax earlier..I wish to thank them, they save us much time.. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
