I think these are slightly narrower than my Sidi's (Which are also great shoes, my last pair went through 4 hard seasons including cyclocross, but good luck finding popular sized Sidi's on sale), so if normal Sidi are too narow for you these probally will not work. I've never bought a pair of cycling shoes that fit and felt as great right out of the box as these. on my very first ride w/ these shoes i was amazed at how comfy they were. i have feet that are kind of in the middle in terms of width (not narrow, but not super wide either) and for me these work great. too bad other models are hard to find or i'd get a road pair as well.
very lightweight. from what i hear, the lightest out there. three velcro straps work great. buckles are nice on other shoes, but really not 100% necessary.

THe shop guy said they were getting rif of them because of complaints. He said the cleats would pull out, becasue the sole was poor. The shoe fits my narrow foot wonderfully. The ski ratchet releases by itself all the time. No problem with the velco. THe shoe itself holds up well. However, I did pull a Time cleat out, just like the shop said. One of the ski ratchets also fell off during a ride. Home Depot is my friend, as I go there trying to find more screws and locktite. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I think that these shoes are quite good but some how they are not very comfortable. they are way to high up in your feet so they are very loose. I think that the Specialized Ground Control shoes are the best for way intense riding,,,,they are so much better and about 1/4 of the price! | Overall Rating: |

Great Shoes - got mine on sale for $125 - the strap/buckle system works very well for a nice snug fit - took me awhile to figure out the buckle (duh). I like the fact that there are no laces - a big plus! They could use some spikes on the toe for hard packed grip when you bail and could be a tad bit stiffer - but overall an excellent italian shoe - 5 chiles all the way!!! | | Overall Rating: |

As shoes are a matter of personal fit, I would just comment on models I've tried on so far. I'm flat-footed with wide front & centre by narrow heels.Sidi Dominator 2 - Although made in Italy, they felt cheap & not durable. Fit is never right, pulled out too often at heel area. Outsole were nightmarish, didn't grip at all.Carnac Sahara - High priced & high promise. That's it. The ball of my feet just burned like fire after < 1 hr. Go figure that out.Answer Accelerator 98 (Tomac-designed) - Yeah, just stay at Tomac's feet. Totally short carbon fibre straps are just a pain. Hopping around is just to unyeilding !Shimano SH-150M - One of the latest. Cut out that neoprene ankle guard. Tongue should stay on the outside as previous models like 210M. Good running & felt secured. Outsole and heel came off though, after 1 mth.Gaerne Olympia - Italian fitting & exciting looks. As easy to forget, as easy to wear. I have the Garne Laser model which I purchased over a year and a half ago. I have a wide foot and these fit the best for me at the time. They have been working flawlously ever since I have had them. My next purchase I will definatley look at Garne and Carnac. | | Overall Rating: |

First off, please remember that shoes are very personal. What fits perfect for one person,
won't work for another. That said, on to my review. My feet are narrow at the heel but wide
at the toes. I've tried a lot of mt. shoes and have found that if they fit good at the heel, thay
are too tight at the toes or if they have good toe room, they slip in the heel. No shoe has
really fit perfect for me. That is until I found the Garne's. Fit at the heel is just superb, with no
slippage at all. Nice room in the toe box too. What I really like is the closure system. It's got
a ratching system (that is easily replaced if damaged) that pulls a wide flap down over the
top of the foot and a small velcro closure right at the toe box. By playing with both closures I
can get the best fit of any shoe I've tried (and I've tried all the brand names). For my feet,
this is the best shoe I've ever had. The only down side is the price. $199 retail. They do
make cheaper models but don't know what the fit would be like for them since the closure
systems are different. But for the Olympus model:
