However, I tried emailing Bell, the new owner at the following address: Answer_Desk@bellsport.com
They responded the next morning and a new part set is on its way, no hassle, no charge. Great! I have to say that this changes my opinion of the company a lot. Too bad that they need to be fast fixers. So, below is my revised rating, 3x better than before. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

It can output enough pressure to take care of the road bike. | | Weaknesses: | Hard to attach the nozzle, especially if the tires are low. Impossible for my kids to use. Biggest issue is the non-reliability of it. | | Similar Products Used: | $10 "made in China" no name. | | Bike Setup: | Kids 16" , million year old "10-speed" road bike, two semi-mountain bikes. | | Bottom Line: | This is the most disappointing tool I have bought. Unusable by the kids, 6 and 9 years old, and barely usable by adults. Most difficult feature is the double nozzle for both presta and schraeder. The scraeder nozzle just decided to disintegrate one day. It just blew its guts and now it blows air out the presta side when we are using it. We bought it highly recommended from a local chain, Pacific Bicycle, which has now gone out of business, and it suits them justly for having had the non-conscience to push this thing on my wife. We had had so much trouble with all of our pumps in the past that she decided to buy the "pump to end all pumps" and she was hoodwinked. Do not buy anything that has the dual sided blackburn nozzle. While it has a comfy handle, and the pump head works okay, mine only lasted awhile before the threading where the shaft goes into the base of the pump stripped due to the air pressure. I'm ekeing by on it (it leaks air like a sieve), but I have found that the "lifetime warranty" is useless. Blackburn is now owned by Bell Sports, my bike shop ordered me a replacement pump over a month ago, and I still don't have it. My next pump will NOT be a Blackburn. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

The material used on this bushing is not very pliable so is hard to get on a schrader valve, especially if the tube has almost no air in it. | | Bottom Line: | As was said before by another reviewer, this pump is a piece of crap. I'm on the way back to the store tomorrow to take it back and get my money back. I'm real disappointed that the Blackburn name is being put on this pump. everything was unglued, something that even though i could exchange for another one, i think it could happen in a while.
lifetime warranty, get a life, since day one, should i say first second i try it was all fallinf apart. by the way i have a blackburn mini pump and is great, just in case. i exchange it for an innovations al and the thing is great

Seems well constructed; lifetime warranty. | | Weaknesses: | Requires two hands to lock/unlock the head on the valve. The locking mechanism is stiff, so you have to struggle four separate times every time you pump up both tires. When disengaging the head from a Presta valve, after you turn the locking collar you musty instantly remove the head, otherwise all the tire's air runs out through the Schraeder side! Finally, the little wire collar intended to hold the air hose out of the way when stored is incredibly fiddly to use, even with two hands -- you'll never use it.

Bought the TrakPump sport with the "Magic Gripper" Head. The head bent and broke my Presta valves and I could never get it to work with Schrader valves. I emailed Bell and they replied that they did not have a fix for the problem. Apparently I was not the only one. Months went by and I used uGetHeard to complain again. Well, Bell contacted me immediately and sent me a new TP3 Pump. Now that is customer service. Bell will be eliminating the Magic Gripper head from their product line until they can perfect it. Bell rocks in my book and I will continue to buy Bell, Blackburn and Rhode Gear products. With customer service like this, you can't go wrong. 1 Chile for the Sport pump, 5 Chiles for the new pump and 5 Chiles plus for Bell Sports. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

This is a great pump that seals well to both presta and schrader valves. The pump nozzle requires more than what i would think is necessary force to clamp on to the valve, but it results in a great seal. It forces alot of air with each stroke and makes inflation quick. I like how the gauge is mounted at the toip for easy reading. It is also very accurate. this is a great pump for the shop or to pack in the car. At $53 with discount, it is more than i expected to pay, but if it holds up and does the job with no fuss, I'm happy! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

just inflating regular old mountain bike tubes (specialized) into a 2.1 tire (bontragers) to anywhere between 50-60 psi | | Bottom Line: | decent pump.
the hose and the nozzle do nothing for my peace of mind. but it is backed by a lifetime gaurantee.
which is why i bought it.
inflates like it should though - rather quickly and painlessly.

I've only been using the pump a short time and the nozzle no longer functions: it recently started blowing air out of both the schraeder & presta sides regardless of which side is engaged. Result: no pressure. Personally, I'd rather have a simpler, more robust presta-only nozzle (How many people who spend this much on a floor pump have schraeder valves, anyway?
