Favoriate Trail:Mammoth Bike Park
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $20.00
Purchased At:Nashbar
Strengths:Good platform size
Really grip well
Lightweight
Stout pins that remove from the backside
Weaknesses:None so far
Similar Products Used:Easton Cully
Bike Setup:Giant NRS Air with monkeylite riser and platform pedals cause I don't clip in.
Bottom Line:I ordered these through Nashbar.com cause they were so cheap pricewise that is, and lightweight. They claim they weigh 275 per pair but actual weight is 475 gr/pair. Kinda pissed me off but for platforms they're still as light as they come. besides, at 275/pr they would have been as strong as tin foil. All that aside, I really like these pedals. Bearings are smooth and they don't free spin, alot like my Easton Cully's but with pins that are more stout and are removed by a philips screwdriver from the back. Cully's have thin allen screws prone to breaking or bending or shearing off and they're much more expensive. The platform size is not too small, not too big and seem strong enough to endure though only time will tell. And they look good too. Nashbar just raised the price up to $25. but at that price they're still a good deal.
