It is 5 years old, but I'm easy on equipment. The stick-on velcro tabs that position the visor never stuck to nothing. I've used black tape to hold the visor in place for two years. The brow pad, which was disentigrating fell out after a rainshower the other day. The Roc-Loc system blew out yesterday on a road ride. All the sticky stuff done give up! If another helmet starts these problems I will have to find an epoxy to mount the velcro tabs in.
I've only crashed it 2 or 3 times and only one of those did I hit hard enough to crack a helmet--but the GIRO didn't. Never seemed to be any airflow. Even after I buzzed my head.

Giro Mojave | | Bike Setup: | Helmet on rider, rider on bike. | | Bottom Line: | Well I bought the Incline during the summer and could not believe how poor the airflow was, even at night it was just too hot. Now that it's cooler, however, this has become my helmet of choice. With only 13 small vents, it's definately not recommended in hot or even warm weather.
I've had no problems with the straps or pads so far, they've held up pretty well under almost daily riding. Nothing fancy, of course, but they get the job done.
Overall, not a bad visored helmet for the price, but look elsewhere if you need more (any?) airflow. | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |

I have to say that forza's good, but it would not look good on my head. The owner told me that he had some clearance helmets and I found an Incline lying in them, the price was 30 dollars after the rebate. I have heard people say that Giros fit a little funny, well it fits me better that most helmets I have tried. I got a 97 model and so its a very old model. I just went endo after hitting a pothole on a steep SF street at 20+ MPH. A sprained wrist and some scrapes was the only damage done. I didnt realize I had hit my head until an onlooker said "that helmet saved your ass" - I took off the helmet and noticed some scrapes and a small crack. Giro Venture | | Bottom Line: | I can highly recommend this helmet. I operate on a budget and originally bought the helmet because of its price and it looked good. I had the helmet for a couple months before I went over the handlebars (rookie!) and landed head first on a small boulder. I wasn't hurt other than some cuts on my ear. Had this lid for a little while 'till my wife drove over it. Fortunately it
was not on my head at the time. Overall, it was a decent helmet. It fit me like a condom and appeared to offer excellent crash protection. However, it was a bit heavy and VERY hot. Doesn't bother me to much whenever i get to hot i just take it off for a minute or so and its just fine after that. A nice affordable helmet if you are not looking to spend alot on a helmet. Feh! I suppose it'll do if you're really tight for cash, but you'll end up shelling out more when you decide that it's not a great helmet. It's been rather hot lately & the glue that holds the visor up & the front of the rear retention system has suffered (not to mention that I'm really beginning to notice how poorly ventilated it is). The retention was never very good anyway (always readjusting during ride) and if you are sporting a ponytail, it gets in the way. I've had my incline helmet now for just about a year and have no complaints. It is a lot more comfortable than the Specialized helmets I've used in the past. It is heavier than other helmets, but I really don't feel the difference once it's on my head. The air flow is fine for me. Over all this is an OK helmet.It fits great and has been durable for the one year I have had it.
It is however HEAVY and not very cool. It acks likes a vegitable steamer on your brain. Although It has served me well I will be getting a Specialized Air Banshee just because of the heat problem. I bought an Incline about a year ago, I think it is a very good helmet for the price. It fit like a glove right out of the box. The only reason why I would get another helmet is if I find one that looks better or has better quality foam and construction. The Qranc OGK/ReaQtor seems to fit the bill. | | Overall Rating: |

This is a nice fitting (for me), well constructed helmet at this price range. I have no complaints. If you want something better, then shell out another 50 or 100 bucks. Good price for a helmet, but the pads that hold the Roc-Loc in place are attached by just a couple of crappy glue tabs. Came right out. Next helmet I purchase will have straps that are more securely fastened to the unit. Ventilation isn't the best, however, I find it is well balanced. I bought this helmet and one week later, on my second ride, the sticky velcro pads that the Roc Loc attach to ALL came out. I returned it immediately for a Gila. It has the Roc Loc 2, which has better straps, and is adjustable for height. And it has a reflective strip down the top of the helmet. To the point: really comfortable, good looking and under 50 bucks!! What a deal. dosen't have 33.2
vents or a cool fin, but it will protect your head in a crash(trust me, I know). Also the colors are very
cool and the design is appealing, despite the low cost. All helmets protect your head, but this one does
