$1100.00 | | Purchased At: | ebay | | Strengths: | The frame is nice a stronge. The way it just goes over everything is a cool thing to feel. | | Weaknesses: | The derailer hanger is not very strong but just get a hold of Iron Horse and get two or three extra hangers so if you bend or brake one. Other then that theres no weekness that I have found. | | Similar Products Used: | KHS DH 50 | | Bike Setup: | 2002 Super T fork, Risse Jupiter 7 Rear Shock, Avid 8" Mechanical Disk Brakes, Formula Hubs, MRP Chain Guide, Profile Cranks, Sram Drive Train, Race Face Handal Bars, Azonic Seat Post, FSA Pig Head Set, Kenda 2.6 Kolassal DH tires, and Rhyno Light Sun Rims. | | Bottom Line: | This is a great bike for someone who likes to do drops or likes to go fast down an technical trail. Not for someone that does really big drops or someone that does lots of pedaling because the bike weighs over 30 pounds. At least mine does. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2500.00 | | Purchased At: | SuperGo (don´t buy them, they are very slow in handling products) | | Strengths: | Great Component Selection | | Weaknesses: | Rear derailleur hanger, Main Pivot bents easily. | | Similar Products Used: | Cortina DH8 Extreme, Intense M1 | | Bike Setup: | Stock, but added SPD 646 Pedals, Chris King Headset, and Intense ODI Grips. | | Bottom Line: | This is the worst derailleur hanger I have ever seen, I have ordered a cromoly derailleur hanger, and I have lots of problems when I do Drop-Offs, yesterday I jumped off a 4 mts Drop, when I landed cleanly I noticed the rear derailleur hanger was bented, the XTR derailleur was broken and the main Pivot was bented. I have checked the chain length to see if this was produced when I bottomed the suspension, but the lentgh is ok, I also checked the torque of the 12 mm Thru-Axle and it was ok. I don´t know what happened, because I practiced this Drop several times in a 99 Gary Fisher Level Betty SE, and with no problems. Can somebody tell me what is happening? | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2500.00 | | Purchased At: | SuperGo (don´t buy them, they are very slow in handling products) | | Strengths: | Everything, component selection, bike geometry, Fox Vanilla RC, Boxxer, Profile Cranks, Ringlé Hubs (12 and 20 mm thru axles). Weight. | | Weaknesses: | Headset and Grips. | | Similar Products Used: | K2 Disco Monkey, Santa Cruz Bullit. | | Bike Setup: | Stock configuration, but I bought Chris King Headsets, Intense ODI Grips, Shimano 646 SPD pedals and an Azonic Head Lock. | | Bottom Line: | This bike is perfect for Downhill, it has an excellent weight, it pedals very efficiently, Rock Shox Boxxer eats everything, excellent height at the bottom bracket, great angles. This bike beats a $5000 dll bike easily. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from franklin ma usa Date Reviewed: November 1, 2001 | | Favoriate Trail: | vietnam | | Duration Product Used: | 6 months | | Purchased At: | crossing cycle | | Strengths: | really high bottom bracket, fast and relatively easy to pedal for a 7 inch travel bike. great handling and very easy to get behind either going off drops or cruising down single track. | | Weaknesses: | the worst derailluer hanger on the planet!!! I had my bike shop owner make a new one. the thing is toothpick flimsy and shifted like crap. Pivot bushing already worn out from half a year of riding. They should invest in sealed bearings all over the rear triangle. | | Similar Products Used: | karpeil disco vilante, specialized fsr | | Bike Setup: | monster t, profile mrp, gazzaloodis, mammoth rims, chubby bars.hayes | | Bottom Line: | great bike for the price, you can't beat profile cranks on a stock bike, never used the boxxers but they look like toothpicks but they fixed that for the 2002 model by adding the shivers, now it's definetely worth it. If you ride at vietnam this is the perfect bike, your pedals will never hit a rock. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$2000.00 | | Purchased At: | Supergo | | Strengths: | Everything. This bike has every proven winning and strong component you can think of on it. | | Weaknesses: | Pedals. the pins shear off to fast. but that's what happens when your not taking the green trail. : ) | | Similar Products Used: | There is nothing similar in this price range........they are all $4000.00 more. | | Bike Setup: | Replaced stock 600 shock with 650....sweet now. | | Bottom Line: | This bike rules the east coast......I am however from the west coast so if it's not a GT, Intense, Kona or Karpiel it somehow is not as good..........what a crock of sh*t!
This bike has $5000.00 worth of components on it and they are all proven winners and solid as a rock. The frame is PROVEN FSR technology!!!!and extremly well built......price it out yourself, you'll see.........I kill most of the clowns that paid for the name and can't really ride worth a sh*t..........Ironhorse made this bike to take abuse and it does........sorry boys...it's true. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I have never ridden such a fast bike, when you pedal it accelarates like a dirt bike. This has to be the best Downhill i have ridden other than the Brooklyn TMX.this bike corners like and has grea rabbit at geometry. | | Weaknesses: | None this bike corners like and has grea rabbit at geometry. | | Similar Products Used: | Cortina, Avalanche, Brooklyn, Spooky Motorhead | | Bike Setup: | Stock with boxer fork | | Bottom Line: | This bike is definetly worth the money and at 3600 dallars they are practicaly loosing money. The components added up are like four grand. I am definetly considering buying one of these babys. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
