from No Way, CA Date Reviewed: April 12, 1999 | | Favoriate Trail: | PivotCruncher | | Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Has a great product | | Weaknesses: | Need to take business courses to learn how to sell products | | Similar Products Used: | Outland VPP-6 | | Bike Setup: | Vpp-DH | | Bottom Line: | Outland has a great product and lots of good things going for them. However, It's too bad Mongoose didn't buy them out a few years back when Outland made frames for them. If they did, we would all be getting service right now. Here are a few things Outland needs to do if they ever resolve their court case, provide free pivot hardware (ie teflon coated bushings) for all those who were left in the dust by their customer service. Second, they should begin to become more customer service oriented. Look at other moutain bike companies out there that fix your stuff for free at the races. Good luck for Outland to give you a helping hand! Outland, if you are out there listening to this. You guy's are loosing out on a huge industy that is growing exponentially every year. By the way, take a marketing course to figure out how to market and sell your products. Then you might have a chance. One star for your ways of handling the customers, but a five for the actual gear! | Overall Rating: |
