$400.00 | | Purchased At: | My Teacher | | Strengths: | Dude this fork is great, its so burly and weighs a lot less than it looks, I do huge road gaps on this things and it still holds up great, I even did a fifteen foot drop and it did great! I don't know what these guys mean by stiction, this thing is plush, not as plush as a supe T but its cheaper and used. I guess I got lucky and got the good one, because this fork rocks and I plan on it lasting another 2 years. | | Weaknesses: | The seals did wear, but after two years what do you expect? All I did was send it in to White Brothers and have them replaced and then tons of other stuff installed just in case. The bolt to get the wheel off stripped too, but it was easy to fix. | | Similar Products Used: | Boxxer, Monster T, Super T, | | Bike Setup: | Santa Cruz Bullit | | Bottom Line: | This fork is awesome as long as you take care of it. I'm seriously impressed with all that I've put it through. Make sure to check it out before you buy it, other than that it freaking sweet! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

this fork is plush, hard to bottom and is very stif for inverted fork | | Weaknesses: | the only weakness is that the seals can wear out fast but the way to stop this is to lube up the seals ever now and then and they last twice as long | | Similar Products Used: | Boxxer,888RT,888RC | | Bottom Line: | this fork is a sweat ass peace of metal | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$575.00 | | Purchased At: | mtbr.com | | Strengths: | Good rebound for jumping, looks gnarly, pretty light | | Weaknesses: | STICKY! Top out. Bent the frickin stanctions and the forks are useless now. Too much rebound for DH, not enough adjustment, blew out the seals first time riding them and all the oil came out throughout the rest of season. | | Similar Products Used: | Dorado DH, Marzocchi mr t, superT, jr t, monster T | | Bike Setup: | Bullit, 5th element, singlewide rims, mr dirt gizmo, hayes dh, custom paint, sticky rubber high rollers | | Bottom Line: | Since i live in napa there isn't too much DH riding, so they have worked out alright for dirt jumping surprisingly. For DH riding they are alright, but the topout and lack of adjustments is way lame. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

If you have the gold 2000 fork invest in the new crowns, because they're much stiffer and stronger. Invest in THE fork guards. $490.00 | | Purchased At: | Ebay.com | | Strengths: | Very easy to adjust, plush, optional 7 inch travel kit, travel feels bottomless with the 7 inch kit. | | Weaknesses: | Negative spring in damper side leg makes it kind of a pain to reinstall the axle when putting the wheel back on (this is a pretty minor complaint though). Everything else is great though. | | Similar Products Used: | Manitou X-vert Carbon, Bullet Bros. ZZYZX, Rockshox Boxxer Pro. | | Bike Setup: | Specialized FSR DH, Hayes disc brakes, Sun Doublewide Rims, Race Face Cranks, Blackspire Chainguide, Honda CR250 Handlebar. | | Bottom Line: | I've used this fork for one racing season so far and have loved it. It's worked great at every race, with almost no maintenance. Travel feels bottomless and the damping (contrary to what some people say about it) seems to work very well. Very smooth feel no real stiction that I can feel. Just keep the seals lubed with oil and it works awesome. It also feels very rigid especially with the optional MX bar mounts. The fork guards are a great idea and more companies who make inverted forks should use them. I've taken some hard crashes and those guards have saved the lowers every time. Bottom line is that it is a great fork for a great price. Inverted is the way to go. Go buy one. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$800.00 | | Purchased At: | Rage cycles Tempe AZ | | Strengths: | Great damp and rebound control. Opt. 7 inch kit, feels very smooth when booming down a road at 35+ mph. Takes jumps and the rough stuff pretty well, only 6.7 pounds. Better than any 9 pound fork. | | Weaknesses: | springs to soft, oil to light, no skins or fork gaurds. 25$ for the extra inch. | | Similar Products Used: | sxti, xvert r, xvert carb, judy dh, jrt's,ud150 | | Bike Setup: | Scott Neva, dh2 forks, hayes front and rear hubs and brakes, mammoth fat 36 spoke rims, azonic bars, titec dh seat, odi lockjaw grips xt shifter | | Bottom Line: | The fork comes setup for light riders probably 135 to 145 pound riders. I weight 230 and when I got the forks they where way to soft for my weight and my style of riding. The first thing I did was buy much stiffer springs add the extra travel go a little thicker on the oil (if you want) And as on all inverted forks add fork guards. Keep the rocks away from the legs. Any scratches or nicks will just shred your seal to hell. Bottom line I basically rebuilt the fork before it went on the bike. Personally I think this should be done to any fork that has just come from the factory. All pro dh riders do the same. They have their mechanic setup the fork for their weight and type of riding. You need to do the same. The only work I trust is my bike shop and my own. You will notice the difference!!

$800.00 | | Strengths: | Looks great, hard to bottom out once they break in, super stiff-->even torsionally for an inverted fork, seven inch kit is super sweet, rebound adjuster actually works; not like a Boxxer. | | Weaknesses: | Reliability, maybe my fork's a lemon, but it's had to be disasembled twice since i got it. | | Similar Products Used: | boxxer, manitou dc's. | | Bike Setup: | 2000 super eight w/ DH2, hayes, raceface, 26/24 wheels. | | Bottom Line: | This fork feels great-->when its working properly. Two rides after I buy the fork i figure its not getting its full travel (about an inch left) and its bottoming out hard. Upon disasembly, the spring guide is found to be shattered and we couldn't figure out why the hydraulic damper wouldn't let it get its full stroke--->sent it back to WB. They send it back with a heavier spring and said they rebuilt the fork (damper side)and they charge me a hundred bucks. Yay me. I take the fork apart today because its ramping up and not getting full travel, and when i let some air out of it, oil came spewing out of the schraeder valve. Now I need another new part. Bottom line: This forks broken twice in the last three months and this is the winter season when i don't ride that much, what am I supposed to do next season if it keeps breaking all the time and I can't race b/c of it? Two strikes so far, one left....I guess we'll see. I may just say screw the weight and get a Monster T. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$450.00 | | Purchased At: | Cheeta Cycles | | Strengths: | Very easy to maintain. Pour 10cc's of 30 weight oil in once a month with daily riding. Super stable over braking bumps and jumps, this fork is sturdy. The travel is progressive, and will not bottom easily Smooth. Great support from WB. | | Weaknesses: | Some rattling sounds from springs. Stickers are wearing off a little from brake line. | | Similar Products Used: | 99 Boxxer Pro, 00 Manitou X-Vert Carbon | | Bike Setup: | Cheeta Proline with 04's, Bigun's, Maxxis 2.5 Mobster/2.35 Highroller tires, Profile cranks. | | Bottom Line: | This fork is of the same if not better quality of forks costing almost twice as much. For another 25 bucks, you can get seven inches of travel as well. I have hit the stanctions on rocks, and it doesn't do anything to the forks. The rebound adjuster actually works too. These are great for the money, and some of the best forks on the market period. They work they are strong, and they have great tech support. $799.00 | | Purchased At: | thebikeco.com | | Strengths: | plush, though practically impossible to bottom out. Enough travel to swallow bumps but not be too heavy. Looks great, sweet red finish. Makes your bike look moto. Generally great. | | Weaknesses: | Heavy, but if you are looking into buying stuff like this thats not a problem is it. Seals are always something to look out for, I havent had it long enough to say anything in that area. Makes a funny sound on some hits but so what? Difficult to get spares so keep ur old forks while u wait. But who cares - these kick ass. | | Similar Products Used: | Rockshox Judy XL (yuk), Marzocchi Junior T's | | Bike Setup: | Sweet SC Bullit, Hope 02 discs, XT groupset, RaceFace Crankset, Answer/World Force steering, Tioga rubber. | | Bottom Line: | These forks are great. They ride really, really well - they absorb hits smoother than WB's previous stuff, and they keep traction better than most. I dunno about reliability, having not had them for long - i have kept my old junior t's in case i ever have to wait for spares. You can buy other forks such as the Stratos SS8 and Marzocchi Shiver which are also good, but they might have too much travel (8 inches?), in which case the WBs are your best bet. I really like these. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
