from Wales, UK. Date Reviewed: April 28, 2005 | | Favoriate Trail: | Mountain Ash | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Price Paid: |
$445.00 | | Purchased At: | Sunset | | Strengths: | The price above is in GBP(£), and was for the frame only. A very strong yet light frame. Extremely burly back end but still very agile. Being the BigHead 1.5" model, the front end is just a matter of point and shoot. | | Weaknesses: | N/A | | Similar Products Used: | Orange Gringo | | Bike Setup: | Shimano XT Hollowtech, Custom Hope 230mm rotor Mono M4, Sram, Truvative, Easton, Manitou. | | Bottom Line: | This bike is basically hard as f**k. Orange, once again, seem to have found a graet balance between strength and weight. OK, when the bike is fully built your not going to win any XC races on it but it is well withing its ability to get you to most uphill destinations. But even better it will get you down to ALL destinations with a very big smile on your face. BOTTOM LINE: Yet again another amazing piece of British engineering from the boys at Orange, sweet. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
