Strengths:
Nice frame. seems strong and is real stiff.
gets out of the gate realy nice
Weaknesses:
components suck. cheep one piece crank
some generic brack that had to be filed to get the cable to release, wheels were advertised as sealed berring but were only a contact seal. Also a bit on the heavy side

Bottom Line:

I actually have Opie's big brother the 24 Lush Rush Cruiser. I bought the 24 model for mountain bike cross training. There's an indoor bmx track up here so I thought this would keep me busy during the cold/snowy winter months and improve my bike handling skills at the same time. Out-of-the-box this bike is spec'd out very nicely for the price: Bontrager parts package including Bruiser rims. Some downfalls of this bike are (1) weight, it seems heavy to me but I guess I'll take a little extra weight if that means better durability; (2) crank, before you even take the bike home have the dealer swap out the shitty one-piece crank for a three-piece model (they're more rigid and work with mountain bike pedals); (3) poor chain clearance. I didn't notice this until I swapped the 44-tooth sprocket for a 40-tooth. Due to the frame design, the chain is very close to hitting the frame. Mine actually hits the frame a little when the going gets rough. I guess this isn't that big of a deal but you would think Gary Fischer would have noticed this when designing the frame and allowed for a little more chain clearance in his frame design. Overall its a nice ride, but only worth 4-chilis due to the chain clearance flaw.
