Submitted by Adam a from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Date Reviewed: October 9, 2006
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $400.00
Purchased At:United Cycle
Strengths:Everything on this bike is very solid, I have the 2005 model. The 3pc crank is Great, handle bars, frame, and components all still unbent or broken.
Weaknesses:Brakes/Rims - The rims have a black paint on them, so ive found that this paint rubs off onto the pads thus making your braking power very minimal. With a new set of rims and brake pads your good to go.
Bike Setup:Added = Odyssey Blue brake cables, Diatec brake pads and the rest stock. Though I Need New rims.
Bottom Line:Very solid bike, brakes are less then apealing though.

Date Reviewed: February 9, 2006
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $225.00
Purchased At:Niagara Cycle Works
Strengths:Frame, gyro, neck, crank
Weaknesses:Brakes, handlebars
Bike Setup:DiaCompe brakes, otherwise stock.
Bottom Line:I'm a relative novice (6'3", 200 lbs) and use this bike for a little trick and racing. The Tektro brakes can't stop someone my size so replace with DiaCompes. Otherwise, excellent bike for my type of use, for the money, for my size.
