    Strengths:Excellent frame. Easy shifting.
    Weaknesses:Shocks.
    Similar Products Used:Old Pansonic MTB
    Bike Setup:Whatever it came with.
Bottom Line:So far, so good. I don't ride hard. Shocks are a little goofy. Can't seem to get them set up right. Love the fit and feel. I'm 5'8" on a medium frame and it works well for me. I'd buy it again if I had it to do over.

    Duration Product Used:3 months
    Price Paid: $650.00
    Purchased At:www.thebibycleoutlet.com
    Strengths:Strong light frame, good shocks
Weaknesses:most of the packaged compenets suck. my disc brakes warped in the first week i started to ride it.
Similar Products Used:p.1 hardrock(just a few minutes of light riding)
Bike Setup:to lazt to fill out
Bottom Line:Good frame and socks are pretty good, i would recomend to upgrade from the frame, and get rid of most of the other parts. Ive hit some pretty good sized jumps with it and the only problem i found is the seat clamb just colpletey sucks. and the disc brakes bent really easy, but over all i find its a pretty good bike. i would recomend it to a beginner or intermediate.

Submitted by David Applegate a Weekend Warrior from Norwich, Norfolk, England
    Date Reviewed: June 18, 2006
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
Purchased At:Pauls Cycles, Dereham for £450 (too lazy to work out dollars)
Strengths:Strong frame, nice geometry. Good entry level bike, perfect for weekend warriors.
Weaknesses:the stock componants are unreliable, and often screw over. Even though i have the 2.0 model the stock componants still deteriate over time proving little better value than the 3.0.
Bike Setup:04 GT Ruckus 2.0 frame, 130mm 04 'zocchi DJ2s, Hope mini brakes (160mm rear rotor, 180mm front rotor + braided front hose, Truvativ Holzfella stem and Husslefelt cranks (including rings and bash guard), Syncros Big box rims and handlebars, (really bad) Shimano Hubs, Outland Seatpost, SDG Seat, X-7 rear mech and Deore front both with X-7 levers
Bottom Line:This bike si perfect for you run of the mill weekend warrior, like my self. The frame and set up are perfect for long distance hauls to your favourite trail, yet work perfectly fine flying down hills or over jummps. However, the bog standard componants do go wrong for instance:
+ the BB, my friend (who owns the 3.0, had to replace his BB, and Im now facing the same problem.
+ the hubs, for someone who rides hard, like me, you will soon find that over time the hubs give up on you. My theory is that the spacers inside the hubs are taken away by small, invisible, disgruntled wood-pixies and replaced with jelly. They suck. I found play in my rear wheel the first week, but the shop replaced all the spacers for free and it was fine, for about 4 months.
+ the seat clamp, if you happen to miss judge a drop or jump you may end smacking down hard on the front or the rear of the saddle, fair enough, apart from the aluminium micro adjust seat clamp over time slips and you grind out the two ridged faces of the clamp and bobs your uncle you have a mgical moving seat. Also i had two of the same seat clamp bolts snap on me in 2 weeks from mere riding.

So my advice is buy it, and change the wheels and seat post, or have you LBS build up the bike with extra parts and sell on the old (but still new) ones. Or if you had the money to spend, i would build up from frame. These frames are light, tough, and hardwearing. Its just the hubs, BB and the gradually annoying seat post that ruin the value rating and overall rating of this bike. change the hubs, BB ans seat post this would be a 5 chilli bike all round.

Bike Setup:Gt Ruckus 1.o frame 2000 Z1 D321 mavic wheel set Single Speed Raceface cranks HFX 9's hydro brakes tioga bars and stem FSA orbit headset
Bottom Line:You Can make this bike Sick I would buy Frame and build it up from there cuz stock componets suck. Ive seen my friends go through frames and im still on the same frame I go decently big hittin 8 foot lips and I have no problems on this bike.
