| FavoriteTrail: | dewey's trail |
| Duration Product Used: | 6 months |
| Price Paid: | $800 |
| Purchased At: | Alamo Bikes |
| Strengths: | The bike is really strong, and always feels really tight, and really smooth. All of the components are great, that is if you know how to adjust the mechanical disk brakes. The bike jumps great. It is even a great bike for downhill and freeriding. |
| Weaknesses: | The front forks aren't the greatest. They have almost no adjustment to them. They are really light tho, and it is easy to manual with the bike. |
| Similar Products Tried: | nothin else really |
| Bike Setup: | stock except for grips |
| Bottom Line: | This is a great all-around bike. You can jump it, you can downhill it, and you can freeride it. Although the downhill and freeride might not be the smoothest with the forks that are on it. I would definalty recommend this bike. All my friends that try it love it. Its a great bike for anyone. |

| Strengths: | Its a BOMBEPROOF frame. I race downhihll on it, and it STILL holds up. Componets are the only thing that falls apart, but that just comes with the territory of Rockin' the Hardtail! |
| Weaknesses: | Stock fork is kind of a bogus deal...after about...6 months, it craps out. It bottoms out on just a bunny hop, but with some thicker oil, or thicker springs, it'll do JUST fine. Stock derailiur is the long cage, so...thats kind of a bummmer depending on what you like to do. sooo yea. |
| Similar Products Tried: | Not any hardtails, so...its the BEST one. lol |
| Bike Setup: | Diomandback Assult frame, Manitou Sherman flick Plus 110/150 fork, Stock Sun Rims, Stock brakes...Maxxis Minion DH spesific tires and...mostly stock parts...Shamino deore Derailure but only cause the Sram x.7 is allllll bent outta shape. hehe. oops... |
| Bottom Line: | AWSOME bike, either for DH racing, or Urban Assulting..."Whatever you ride" Well worth the money, and...its just allllll good. |

| Strengths: | pretty good components for the price, relatively lightweight, less expensive than similar bikes in this category, you'll be unique since not a lot of people have this bike |
| Weaknesses: | no bash guard |
| Similar Products Tried: | none, new to biking and just started this year. |
| Bike Setup: | stock, trimmed down the handlebars, lowered the stem and will cut the steer tube down a bit, took off all the reflectors/stickers/decals. |
| Bottom Line: | i'm new to biking so i'm not too keen yet on what should make a good bike, but i've been told this is a great bike w/ good components to start on, and i think this will be easily upgradable should i ever want to. guys who have been riding for a long time who are willing and want to spend over $1000 on a bike w/ hydraulic brakes and nicer components, this isn't the bike for you. but if you're relatively new and want a solid, affordable, bike, this may be for you. i've ridden this to work through chicago and also just for fun, and i think it's a very solid bike for freeriding. you can do some urban/dirt jumping with it and it should be fun for light downhilling as well. some people say the marz dirt jam pro fork is no good, but i have the preload dialed fairly low and it doesn't even sag that much when i'm on it (i'm about 140lbs) and it works well for me. |

| FavoriteTrail: | DNR's |
| Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month |
| Price Paid: | $700 |
| Purchased At: | Half Link Bike Shop |
| Strengths: | It has a good jum, pers frame geometry, is fairly light, seems to be pretty strong, mostly all quality components and it even handle light downhill |
| Weaknesses: | the seat post, i stripped the bolts out when i took the seat off to change it, and i think the only reason i havent bent it is because i dirt jump so the post is all the way down |
| Similar Products Tried: | Kona Scrap, Specialized P.2, Gary Fisher Mullit |
| Bike Setup: | Stock, but a Primo BMX seat |
| Bottom Line: | the bike is awesome, i like to bmx so i like that it feels like a bmx bike. i can bunnyhop it up a 3 stair and im not a very big guy. it manuals like a bmx bike too, you just have to pull up a little harder but once its up it balances. the dirt jam pro fork is stiff on small things like 1 foot drops (when you dont need it) but it absorbs the bigger stuff realy well (when you do need it) ive taken it off 5 foot rock walls to flat blacktop and it didn't bottom out. I would recomend the bike to anyone that likes to dirtjump and do some downhill. it also works for city riding, like stair jumping and stuff |
