Strengths:2006 Trail or Park. The frame is very strong. Gussets are used at critical points to add strength. Adjustable dropouts are a plus. Open style cable and hose guides are easy to work with. Weight is rear biased. Makes for a fun ride.
    Weaknesses:None so far.
Similar Products Used:Trek Jack, Giant STP
Bike Setup:I bought the bike from Transition to use as a trail and jump bike. I went with a geared set up FSA Gravity Gap crank, SRAM X.7. I got the 36MM TBC Revolution wheels and these things are incredible. They are very burly and 36 holes, so you couldn't destroy them if you tried. They also look great. Dirt Jump 2 fork setup a bit stiff, Hayes HFX-9 stoppers, FSA headset and freeride handlebar. TBC temple stem and ODI lock ons. I'm also running the TBC stepdown pedal which are great. They hold the shoe very much like my Tioga MX pedals on another bike, but cost quite a bit less.
Bottom Line:This bike is great. It's so small and compact that you can flick it around with ease. The build is solid and it looks great. Looking at the tubes would lead you to believe that the bike is aluminum because the tubes are beefy. It's in fact made of 4130 cromoly. Anyone looking for a bike of this type should check it out. The guys at Transition are great to deal with and their frame replacement policy is top notch.

    Purchased At:Phat Moose Cycles
Strengths:Real strong, great geometry for urban, dh, whatever. Can even hold a big dual crown fork without voiding any warrenties. Horizontal dropouts make it super easy for a single speed setup. Comes in long version as well.
Weaknesses:Heavy, but who cares? 8 pounds of steel is where it's at.
Bike Setup:Trail or park set up for freeride/dh, 04 jr.t, d321, hayes 9, king cog, blah blah
Bottom Line:Fantastic frame, can really take a beating. Who cares if it's heavy, it will last a long time, especially with the warrenty and crash replacement policies. Can easily be set up to do a number of riding styles, comes in a regular and long size too. Flat black paintjob is nice as well... Great frame. 5 out of 5
