Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $975.00
Purchased At:lbs
Strengths:great strong frame and wheelset, once pumped up the forks were great, brakes took no time to wear in, i still have the original tires on
Weaknesses:cranks are crap, i have not done much on this bike yet, the biggest drop i have done would be about 1 1/2 meters onto grass, and the bearings in the bb have been crushed and crank arms bent, grips ware out quickly and pedals are too slippery
Similar Products Used:my previous bike was a malvern star XC bike
Bike Setup:all stock except new grips, pedals and soon cranks
Bottom Line:this is a great bike, rock solid perfect for beginner to intermediate rider because it will never break, you couple put triple clamps on it and it would snap the forks before it cracked the frame, re-enfocring gussets all over so there are no weak parts.

great bike, buy it

Favoriate Trail:The Peg
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Purchased At:A bike store... DUHH!
Strengths:It looks cool, has strong rims, frame, and suspension, and nice grips (if you are using gloves). It doesn't weigh a lot, maybe not the lightest bike ever, but not heavy.
Weaknesses:pins on pedals need to be bigger, needs comfier saddle, needs better shifters.
Similar Products Used:None SIMILAR, but I used to ride a $200 Zellers bike, it was a piece of garbage...
Bike Setup:stock, except for a chain guide or whatever its called (keeps the chain from falling off)
Bottom Line:This is an awesome bike for people who want to get in to dirt jumping and urban. It's an awesome bike for the value, and I'm extremely happy with it.

Strengths:strong frame good geometry, fork works well, convertable to single speed most of the bike, comes with gears and front brakes, looks better in person, pictures don't show the metallic silver paint properly (it is darker than it looks in pictures) decent price (1200Cdn), good company
Weaknesses:rims are not triple wall, replaced rear wheel with sun mammoth, chain guide useless when back pedaling gets tangled, no bashguard, grips feel good but wear fast, pedals aren't that grippy (don't have replaceable pins or screws) which can cause problems norco could have thrown in a few more accesories
Similar Products Used:have not used similar products (so my overall rating is a bit of a guess) but the bike is simelar to other norco supercross, specialized p-bikes, Banshee Scratch and other urban/dirtjump/freeride hardtails
Bike Setup:sun mammoth triplewall rear wheel, single speed (36-15) until i can get good chainguide/guard, bar caps, will need grips soon
Bottom Line:i also had arch on fork break but marzocchi replaced it for free, it is a good versatile bike that can be used for many types of riding and take a fair deal of punishment but like most bikes this price there will be some things you will have to work out but the platform is good I recommend it if you want one bike to do both bmx style of riding and mountain bike style of riding

Weaknesses:DMR chain guide is usless no point in having it on chain still falls off with it, the grips wore out in 3 weeks, Its super heavy and makes it hard for bunny hopping

Weaknesses:well i had to get warrenty on my forks, i broke the bar that go0es rigth above the wheel, ya i snapped that doing manuals in a parking lot, also the bars are week as hell, ive already replaced that, the brakes suck unless u have them set up perfectly, tubes needed to be replaced, although any tube will pop no matter what, crank was creakign at first but its better now, i have replaced the derailer , DMR chain guide has been mangled on me a few timeas, this is my fifth derailer hanger on the norco. grips didnt last long,i bent the front rotor ,to hell, but that was my fault not the bikes, and the seat, its pretty chinsey

Bottom Line:this bike is good for the price, i submitted a review earlier when i had the bike and my out look on it has really changed, its not as good as i hoped for and its always in for repair, i might be hard on the bike but no harder than anyone else, its a little on the heavy side, and the fact that it only comes in one colour really sucks, the levers feel really loose on it and im goign to replace those as well. i would recomend this bike to anybody who wants to get into mountain biking, without spending an arm and a leg.

Strengths:Massively strong frame with a bulletproof fit-out.A very versitile bike.
Weaknesses:The bike instills a degree of confidence that can exceed ones abillity, often leaving the rider on their arse.
Similar Products Used:I haven't ridden anything like it.

Bottom Line:this bike has taught me a great deal of bike skills. I ride flat land mainly and have not had it on a jump track yet although I've done some amazing down hill stuff. Wheelie drops off 6ft loading docks onto flat concrete makes for a big SLAM! and big balls. That,s why the one25 weighs as much as an average duallie gravity mill. (36.5 pounds) There is no titanium,no carbon and bugger all plastic it is nearly twice the weight of some of my old (borring) road bikes. It has a low center of gravity so the weight makes for a very stable & accurate low speed (trials)platform. Bunny-hops & the like is where the weight holds you down. Yep! This is the machine that got this 44 year old manualling around the local fountain every ,arvo.
