    Date Reviewed: August 4, 2005
    Duration Product Used:6 months
Weaknesses:Unnecessary double head, very rough cable surface
Bike Setup:Kona Kula hardtail, Marzocchi MX Pro forks, SRAM derailleurs, Avid Juicy Seven brakes. And an old Syncros headset.
Bottom Line:This cable has little heads on both ends, for Shimano/Sram and Campagnolo road or off-road use, which might be a good idea from the Jagwire company's viewpoint... but this unfortunately means that one has to cut off on of the heads before installing the cable. And what happens to a cut cable? Gets frayed. So this means that when installing, one has to be very-very careful, because the cable can get frayed and get stuck in the housing. Also, the cut cable can scratch the housing, making tiny grooves for muck to collect there, which is not in favour of slick shifting.
This cable is also very rough, and this can be felt if you run your fingernails along them. They might have some teflon-like coating on them, but it's very hard to believe that they were machined.
