Duration Product Used:
1 Year
Price Paid:
$100.00
Purchased At:
Oakley Greenbelt outlet
Strengths:
Very durable and holds up to daily abuse. I use this backpack everyday and stuff it with a lot of heavy clothes, tools and other whatnot. I even use it whenever I go out for groceries. Very versatile as well, since the helmet holder can hold not just helmets, but a couple quarts of milk, even a roll of wallpaper. The bag really fits my back well, whether I'm carrying a lot or running the pack nearly empty. This bag is a definite improvement over the Oakley Mtb pack.
Weaknesses:
My only gripe with the product are the zipper pull tabs... Since they're made from cables.. they tend to rust after a year of riding through rain. But it's not a major concern really. Also, I'd love to see the bag with more pockets inside.
Similar Products Used:
Oakley Mtb pack, Adidas Mtb pack.
Bike Setup:
Da Bomb Grenade chromoly frame, Marzocchi All-mountain 3, Shimano Hone cranks, XT derailleurs, and Saint Shifters. A lovely all-day sucker for a heavy rider.
Bottom Line:
The bag costs a lot of dough, but it's an investment worth spending on.
