    Favoriate Trail:Innerlethen
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Price Paid: $975.00
Strengths:- Climbs better than anything i have seen out out the trails, you simply never get overtaken on the way up.
    - Very composed feel, makes slow technical stuff less scary.
    - Great equipment for the price.
Weaknesses:- Not designed for extra-rough rocky terrain.
    - Not really designed for max. speed down hill either.
    - is too head down and lightly built to make you feel invincible.
    Similar Products Used:Various hardtails.
Bike Setup:MX PRO Eta fork. Next carbon flat bar. Shimano XT everything that moves.
Bottom Line:if like most folk you have to pedal to the top then this bike makes the uphill journey both much faster and much more fun. every single time i got overtaken on the way up it was by some dude with shaved legs and far too much lycra on a £4000 hardtail.

in the real world the rest of us live in, this is as good a climber as you'll find. compress the ETA fork (it lowers, therby changing the angle of the bike and making it even better for climbing [as opposed to a standard lockout]) and you fly up. let the fork back out and its tough enough and bouncy enough to get you down all but the rockiest descents (infact the ETA system is so much better than a standard lockout - why don’t all manufacturers use it!?).

if all you do is fly fast down hills then get a full-sus, but if youre interested in maximising your value or know you want a hard tail thats expert at climbing and good at descending then i'd recommend this fully.
