    Strengths:Strong rims.
    Very light for their price.
    Smooth rolling.
    They look great.
    Weaknesses:Rear hub workmanship.
You need an extra large spoke key for adjustments.
Similar Products Used:Alex rims, cheaper shimano, bontrager
    Bike Setup:Merida Hardtail
Bottom Line:The front wheel is the perfect value upgrade. Light yet strong. The paint job looks good too.
The rear wheel is also great if has been put together correctly. When I first got the wheelset I had trouble with what I thought was a bent disc. It later turned out to be that the hub hadn't been put together properly and as a consequence the axil was not true which led to the wheel bearings coming loose and the disc not being true. Would have got 5 chillies if this problem didn't exist.
Shimano replaced the wheel though via my LBS and all is sweet now.
My first set of tubeless wheels. Excellent!

Bottom Line:good stiff wheelset for heavier cross country, all mtn rider (220lbs)would be good light freeride wheelset for lighter rider, rim finish resists rock scratches well, blown out 2 08 xt rear freehubs, one on this wheelset and one on my mavic 823/xt wheelset, centerlock brakes (08 xt) are very good, complement the wheelset
