Description:Rider driven and developed? That’s no exaggeration. Throughout 2006 we have been experimenting on our brave Gravity team with a variety of wheels. Their feedback has produced a wheelset with a big advantage: the insight of some of the very best pro riders. Gravity wheels feature a no nonsense hub with direct pull spokes, monster sized bearings for strength, and close spaced freehub steps for control. The rim is the right width, right weight, and the right strength
to get the job done.
Description & Materials
A broad, U-shaped rim (32mm wide X 21mm deep) in 6061, with eyelets, is cold worked after hooping for extra strength. 32 straight gauge direct pull spokes are tangentially laced for rigidity and long life. The front hub is 20mm through axle and three rear configurations are available (135mm QR, 135mm X 10mm through axle, and 150mm X 12mm through axle). The hubs are seriously overbuilt and feature ISO brake bosses.
