Strengths: Strong, strong, STRONG!! Not bad on weight either, cheap too when compared to some other wheel sets in the same class. Convertible hubs work great too!
      Weaknesses: NONE! It's that simple
Similar Products Tried: Mavic, Atom Lab, and a few others
Bike Setup: Kona Stinky w/ eight inch dangerboy rocker arms, Marzocchi 66vf, Race face Diablous group, Azonic Headlock and Aframe pedals, full XT drive train.
Bottom Line: For the price this wheel set has no competition! For three years I have dropped, jumped, crashed, and DH'd this wheel set without a problem. THREE YEARS!!!! And so far they have only been trued just once and that took no time at all. People, three years on the same set of DH/FR wheels? How much more proof do you need? Not to mention I am not gentle on my bikes at all! I've demolished some incredible parts while this wheel set was on my bike. Including a RaceFace Diablous handlebar! That was my fault though and nothing more. My only complaint this wheel set gets (and it a complaint not a weakness) is that my Maxxis tires are tough to get off the rim. But I went out and got a set of Park oversized metal tire levers and that does the job. Still for the money there is no better wheel. If and when I trash these I will get the exact set of wheels to replace them. Ride on and I can't say it enough BUY THESE!!!

Strengths: Heavy as s**t so rims should be bomber?
Weaknesses: 20mm adapter binding issue & rear hub loosened. Heavy as s**t! Hubs blow dead bears.
Bike Setup: Sick Moment with great stuff except for the wheels! Talas fork-Avid Jcy 7s-carbon bar-sette adjst stpost-RF cranks Evolve! Ultimate all mountain up and downer all arounder! Dream bike!
Bottom Line: Front wheel wouldn't turn freely with 20mm adapters. Was binding. Rear hub came apart after less than 10 hrs of riding! Total garbage-would not let my mom go to the store with these wheels. Spend a few $ more and get something like No Tube Flows or Easton AMs. Twice the price but worth it!

      Strengths: cheap,strong rims.
      Weaknesses: Machine build, rear hub.
      Bike Setup: VP-Free
Bottom Line: You pay for what you get. Great deal for the doh.. Needed a wheelset to build up my frame on the cheap. $250 was less than almost any other rear hub alone. Rear wheel loosened up and had to re tension the wheel after a month or so. wheel stayed true and only noticed one day hoisting the bike onto the rack, "holy cr%* those spokes are loose". Six monthes into it had 5 spokes pop on one ride. I thought my front tire was throwing up pebbles that were pinging off the frame. Halfway through the ride I noticed 3 broken spokes by the end there were 5. Relaced the wheel and prorley tensioned and it has been fine and true since. One year into it (6-10 hours on trail per week year round) the rear hub has finally given up. New hub should be here tomorrow. But agian I am paying $210 for the hub alone. Even with five broken spokes the rear rim stayed true and got me home. I would recommend this wheelset, especially if you are handy with a spoke wrench for the initial tensioning the machine just can't manage in the beginning. I probably would not have had to re lace my rear wheel if I had done it sooner.

I thought it was the Pawls wich are easy to replace. Come to find out the teeth the Pawls engage on somehow striped free from the hub. HOLY COW I've never seen that before! I have another set on my back up bike, so far they are holding together.

Strengths: pretty darn strong considering how cheap priced they where, not bad at all.
Weaknesses: they look likee sh** , not too creative in the cosmetic department, but it all gets scratched up anyways... whatever.
the front is starting to have play in it when I break front, but, well, what can ya do?

Bike Setup: Jamis Diablo, minion/high roller combo, a travis 180, Fox, fsa, bla bla bla.
      Bottom Line:

At first, I bought this wheel set because I was desparate for a cost-savy 150mm wheel set, and, well... they were there so I bought em. Did not expect em to last that long, planned to replace them within a few months,.. now, I'm contemplating getting another set!

I like the fact that they have a 36 hole set up, and, yes, they have a surprizing strength to weight ratio. they have been alright to me. I have really beat the crap out of these rims, both intentionally and untentionally, and one warrentied frame later, after a bent saddle, tweaked shock hardware, a shear'd deraillure, and a pair of shredded MAXXIS 2ply DH casting tires, these rims still remain! A little scratch up and slightly untrue, but thats more then I can say for the rest of the bike.

They are no DEE Max's or double tracks, but they are nice, about equal in class to the sun ringle single track wheel set, somewhere in that range, maybe better, who knows?... very nice, and definately worth a try....

Bottom Line: Good and strong, but the rear wheel bearings have seized and require replacement after five rides. Not cool, and points to either (or both) cheap bearings with no business in wheels destined for hard use or shoddy work in the overseas factory (gorilla gripping on the wrench during assembly). Otherwise no other problems and the adapters all work well, but I think a wheel should run more than six weeks and five rides before having bearing siezure.

I've been using them on both of my bikes almost as long as they've been out and I've barely had to touch them. Used them for 5-6 ft drops to flat concrete on my hardtail, cased lots of edges, pinned rock-gardens, ridden with flats, and done tons of 10-12ft drops (many that I've cased hard). Strengths: Strong, light, good value. Nicely build when I receive them. Installing tire on it is pretty straight forward. I slip my pedal and ran straight on a 9 inch curb at high speed; the wheelset fitted on the boxxer race manage to absorb the impact and was still true after. The rear free hub is much more silence that my other formula free hubs which is clicking when freewheeling.
Weaknesses: Not really a weakness, but when installing onto the fork the 20mm conversion plugs for the front hub fall easily. But you should be able to manage that easily.
Similar Products Tried: Alex Supra BH with formula hubs for a second wheelset.
Bike Setup: Giant Faith, Boxxer Race, Diabolous Stem, Easton Monkeybar, etc.
Bottom Line: I purchase this wheelset so that I can have two wheelsets with two different tires so that I would be able to swap between the two base on the type of riding. I've heard that the rim is basically the rebranded alex supra BH that I already own, which is not a bad thing since they are strong. When I receive the wheelset, they are indeed identical. Overall, it is a very strong and light wheelset, good value for the money. The hubs are very versatile since you can convert the front from QR to 20mm through axle. When purchasing, you can also choose the rear hub between the standard 135mm or the wide 150mm.
