To everyone who had bad customer service, at least you got to talk to someone, I was yet to get a responce from them. There right cover was broken and I thought to check the reviews right here. I noticed a review mentioning the poor customer care at Minoura, and he mentioned the name of the manager, Jeff Zell.
I have to tell you all, please dont try to hurt someones reputation if you are having a bad day. I spoke with Mr. Jeff Zell at Minoura and told them about my situation, and right away, he asked for my shipping address, and without me asking for replacement, he told me that I wil be having the missing items in 5-6 days.
This is called 100 % customer satisfaction, and this is the company you would want to take your business to.

Saves wear on the tires, too. Support is a joke. | | Similar Products Used: | None yet. | | Bottom Line: | I purchased this with a great deal of excitement, as I was going to use it to help recover from a knee injury. I was let down completely because:
1) One of the foldable legs was cut too short (or one too long). It was 5/8" shorter than the other leg, making it impossible for the unit to balance flat.
2) The resistance module was utterly defective. Right out of the box the wheel did not turn. Upon inspecting and dismantling it I found the whole shaft was bent, causing part of it to rub and chip the magnet inside.
3) After calling Minoura, speaking with with warranty manager Jeff Zell, was told that they are proud of their 0.5% failure rate and that they fully support the product and it was a fluke... to return it to Performance for replacement since quote "they should foot the bill for the damage".
I'll be trying someone else's trainer, even if I have to buy new tires for it. As other users have mentioned, it feels flimsy and it is. You may be better off trying something more sturdy and "professional". | | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |

Rim drive is nice since I used both road and mtn bike on it. | | Weaknesses: | The wheels that ride on the rims deteriorated VERY quickly from the inside out and ended up shredding where the rubber connects to the plastic around the bearings... I'm hoping it's covered in the warranty! I rode 30 min 4 days a week over 6 mos. before it died on me.
