    Price Paid: $9.00
    Purchased At:LBS
Strengths:Smells good, does not damage paint, leaves no residue, bio friendly, does the job.
    Weaknesses:expensive price.
Similar Products Used:gumout, carb cleaner, brake cleaner
Bike Setup:Giant OCR C1. Full Carbon. Mavic wheels, dura ace/ultegra gruppo. Also a Univega alloy hardtail with judy rock shock & grip shift on a deore gruppo. Also a GT deuce beach cruiser.
Bottom Line:Good stuff...if you're not on a budget. Otherwise, use gumout carb cleaner for less than 1/3 the price.

    Date Reviewed: April 16, 2003
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
    Purchased At:LBS
    Strengths:Cleans great
    Weaknesses:Can get expensive
    Similar Products Used:Degreaser, Brake Cleaner
Bottom Line:It's similar to brake cleaners but it's not as noxious. Cleans chains really good... even chains with nasty caked motor oil (I worked in a bike shop). Faster than soaking and doesn't leave a residue behind. Does strip everything off so be sure to use a chain lube after cleaning.

Just spray your chain thoroughly and let it dry for a couple minutes. Apply your chain lube and you're ready to go again.
