$9.00 | | Purchased At: | LBS | | Strengths: | Smells good, does not damage paint, leaves no residue, bio friendly, does the job. | | Weaknesses: | expensive price. | | Similar Products Used: | gumout, carb cleaner, brake cleaner | | Bike Setup: | Giant OCR C1. Full Carbon. Mavic wheels, dura ace/ultegra gruppo. Also a Univega alloy hardtail with judy rock shock & grip shift on a deore gruppo. Also a GT deuce beach cruiser. | | Bottom Line: | Good stuff...if you're not on a budget. Otherwise, use gumout carb cleaner for less than 1/3 the price. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Alberta, Canada Date Reviewed: April 16, 2003 | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Purchased At: | LBS | | Strengths: | Cleans great | | Weaknesses: | Can get expensive | | Similar Products Used: | Degreaser, Brake Cleaner | | Bottom Line: | It's similar to brake cleaners but it's not as noxious. Cleans chains really good... even chains with nasty caked motor oil (I worked in a bike shop). Faster than soaking and doesn't leave a residue behind. Does strip everything off so be sure to use a chain lube after cleaning.
Just spray your chain thoroughly and let it dry for a couple minutes. Apply your chain lube and you're ready to go again. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
