    Favoriate Trail:The one I'm riding
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $53.00
    Purchased At:GlobalBikes
Strengths:Over 6 months of trail riding in cactus laden AZ & no flats yet. Sidewall strength is awesome. Tread is wearing better than expected.
Weaknesses:Tires are very hard at my normal riding psi(45) Problem fixed by running psi at 35.
Similar Products Used:Maxxis, other Specialized tires.
Bike Setup:08 Specialized Enduro SL, X9 components,Chris King hub/ headset, & other assorted fancy parts.
Bottom Line:Everyone knows Specialized tires are one of the best around, but their sidewall strength is the worst. The feeling you get when you rip a giant hole in a brand new 45 dollar tire is heart wrenching. So I tried the Armadillos & I'm impressed. No sidewall tears or flats with over 6 months riding. Normally I flat every couple rides & just bought a box of 40 tubes. No need to use any of them yet. I would like to see the price come down a bit, but without changing flats so much, my time saved is money.
