      Date Reviewed: 1/21/2008 2:18:30 PM
      Duration Product Used: 6 months
Strengths: agressive tread, tough casing, large air volume, stay on rim at low pressure
Weaknesses: a little heavy compared to a maxxis or kenda
Similar Products Tried: maxxis, kenda, michellin, intense
Bike Setup: ventanna el cuervo, avalanche, manitou travis, titec, e-13, raceface, sun, hayes
Bottom Line: I am running a savage tire up front with a bite tire in the rear and it is a really good all conditions set-up. The tires seems to hold their own in everything from dry and rocky to wet and rooty and even in snow. If you are one who hates changing tires to suit different course conditions I would highly recomend you give this set-up a try.

      Date Reviewed: 1/17/2008 9:32:48 PM
Duration Product Used: More than 3 years
      Purchased At: Local Shop
      Strengths: Durability, versatility, price, weight.
      Weaknesses: Graphics
Similar Products Tried: Bontrager, Maxxis, Specialized, Nokian
Bike Setup: Trek Session 10, King Earl Wheels, 2.6" savage tires for light(watery) mud, Gamut guide, Fox 40 RC2
Bottom Line: I use this tire extensively when conditions get sloppy but not enough to warrant a full on mud tire. Most of the time when riding in mud, there are also rocks and roots. Mud tires don't really like to play with rocks and roots but this tire has enough of a rounded profile to still roll over rocks and roots. I used these tires front and rear at the 2007 Crankworx Garbonzo DH. They helped me earn a 6th place finish. Sam Hill won on mud tires, but he probably would have won on a tricycle. There aren't many tires that fill the gap between dry condition tires and mud tires. This one fits the bill.

      Duration Product Used: 6 months
Purchased At: came with my bike
Strengths: greatest tire i have ever had. its huge! 3.0 rolls over anything, i mean anything! really fast on trails and dirt
Weaknesses: slow on road and off road use only but its a dh kinda tread so what do you expect
Similar Products Tried: kujo dh, specialized pro, chunders, kenda, bontrager big eaRLS
Bike Setup: giant ac, white bros. dh2 fork, fox dhx 4.0 rear shock, 24 in. halo combat rim rear, 26 in mavic 321 disc front with 3.0 tires and hayes hydraulics
Bottom Line: nice tires i like them a lot but a 2.3 maybe a 2.5 is really all you need
