from Hong Kong Date Reviewed: October 27, 2007 | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Strengths: | It's light with low rolling resistance. | | Weaknesses: | It can't grip roads well even when you're cycling on city trail. Also, it's not durable! | | Similar Products Used: | N/A | | Bike Setup: | Hardtail XC | | Bottom Line: | It works well during onroad section. In order to get a better grip power, you MUST pump it to minimum psi! Otherwise, it works like a slick tire. Higher psi makes you do drift easily. Not recommend for offroad us. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from fern park, fl Date Reviewed: October 10, 2007 | | Favoriate Trail: | i like surprises | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Purchased At: | ebay | | Strengths: | nice, light tire. | | Weaknesses: | tread wear | | Similar Products Used: | i've never gone through tread this quick | | Bike Setup: | motobecane f/s . funf, one piece bar/stem. vuelta wheels.hayes 9. rock shox yada, yada | | Bottom Line: | i ride xc and commute. blew through rear tread in ONE MONTH! about 20-40 miles of trail riding and 400 miles on concrete. as far as i can tell, this is a great tire if you load up your bike on back of your suv 4 times a year and ride a couple of miles on an easy trail.worthless for those of you who live on your bikes. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$30.00 | | Purchased At: | Bikeman | | Strengths: | Awesome reliable tire. Good flat resistance, good grip. Long tread life. | | Weaknesses: | Weight? I'm not even sure about that. | | Similar Products Used: | Michelin wildgripper, stock specialized, hutchinson mosquito air light. | | Bike Setup: | 1997 jamis dakar sport, lx/xt drivetrain, manitou skareb, cane creek ad10, crossmax/crossride. v brakes. | | Bottom Line: | I just found out this is a "casual" recreational tire....and i've been riding and racing XC with it....ooops. I love michelin tires, and this one is no exception. It has held up well in the rooty, rocky Maine trails and several xc races. It has also lasted longer in the rear than my hutchinson mosquito air lite has in the front (that tells you something!) Maybe I could be getting way better grip with other tires and I just don't know it, but these country trail tires have treated me well. Their performance seems to exceed their purpose. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Hungary Date Reviewed: October 2, 2006 | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | Works from dusty trails to light mud. Forget on wet road. | | Weaknesses: | Your life is in danger when you use this tire on wet asphalt. In fact i have the half-wet version. It's like on ice! Awesome effect! Congratulation for Michelin :) ! | | Similar Products Used: | several panaracer, maxxis, conti tires | | Bike Setup: | simple XC bike | | Bottom Line: | Only tried the half-wet one, so the other ones can be good, but this is instant danger... You can't avoid the roads man... | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
