    Strengths:Good Grip, Good Duribility
Weaknesses:Havent noticed anything. I've had them for 3 years and only had 1 flat.

    Favoriate Trail:Tunnel Trail, Santa Barbara
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
Strengths:Good grip on most surfaces. Ridden in dry bouldery hardpack and looser dirt with no real complaints.
Weaknesses:The sidewalls are weak. After less than a year both front and rears are disintegrating, causing blowouts...in the trash they go

Similar Products Used:Tioga DH, Speacialized Fast Trak, MTB Weirwolf
    Bike Setup:Specialized Enduro
Bottom Line:Ride them hard for 9-10 months but no more because after that you'll start blowing through inner tubes

    Duration Product Used:1 Year

    Strengths:Great grip
Weaknesses:Sidewalls are weak, and blow outs will happen

    Bike Setup:Specialized Stumpy EX 120
Bottom Line:This tire has ruined several rides (and rims). The sidewalls are weak and this has lead to blowouts. I run my tires at 40 - 45 PSI, and the last ride I had 8 spots where the tire opened up to expose the tube. Luckily I had duct tape or I might still be hikin out. I thought the first time this may have been a fluke, but a subsequent pair revealed the same issue.
    Cheap crap

    Date Reviewed: August 20, 2007
    Duration Product Used:6 months
    Price Paid: $27.00
    Purchased At:Specialized direct
Strengths:Grip is comparable to the 50/60a Pro version. Braking and cornering are excellent.
Weaknesses:Sidewalls! I used the Pros (120 tpi) and had a run of sidewall rips.. so I tried the Sports (60 tpi), but had the same problem, just less often. All Spec'd sidewalls reveal casing after their first ride. This can't be good. Rolls like a drunk slug, but not quite as slow as the softer version.
    Similar Products Used:Numerous.
    Bike Setup:Full rigid.
Bottom Line:Grip, braking, and cornering are all very, very good. Value is very good- considering it's significantly cheaper than the Pro version, with neglible (imo) differences in construction and performance. A very good tire for technical, steep, soft, loose, rocky, rooty terrains.

    Favoriate Trail:Mungatuks
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Purchased At:On yer bike
Strengths:Superb grip - this tire never lets go! A solid ride and predictable movements
Weaknesses:Fat - this is a big puppy at 2.25" which means lots of rolling resistance. The rubber compound on mine has cracked after being left in the sun for short periods of time
    Similar Products Used:Specialised Fastrak
Bike Setup:06 Avanti Lightning; 05 Specialized Hardrock
Bottom Line:As stock tires with my hardrock, theyre great. But for the same price you can buy the specialised fastrak which has kevlar to prevent punctures (it really does work!).
The enduro is very fat, and i would only recommend in very muddy, slippery conditions. The fastrak has ample grip despite having a smaller width.
Only choose the basic enduro for exceptionally muddy conditions, otherwise go for the fastrak.

    Favoriate Trail:Sugar Bottom
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
    Price Paid: $24.00
    Purchased At:lbs
Strengths:Solid traction on most surfaces. Keeps the bike on the line you chose without causing the wheels to slide out.
Weaknesses:A little slower and heavy than smaller tires
Similar Products Used:2.0 specialized, 1.95 Kenda Koyote
    Bike Setup:Hardtail
Bottom Line:The enduro's at 2.2 are very wide and stay on the trail much better than any tire I have tried. They go over logs and off drop offs much better than smaller tires. What you sacrifice in rolling resistance is made up in using your brakes less because they keep you bike going in the direction you want. The Kenda Koyotes slid all over the place.

Favoriate Trail:freeridish stuff or fast tech trails
    Duration Product Used:1 Year
    Purchased At:lbs
    Strengths:good grip in any conditions
i dont think theyre expensive, im not sure cause they came with my bike
i havent had a flat yet(i dont know if that has anything to do with the tire or what)
Weaknesses:a few spots on the outer tread seem to be disintigrating for some reason, i guess that's normal
Similar Products Used:maxxis minion, specialized roll-x
    Bike Setup:'05 Hardrock Pro Disc
Bottom Line:seems to be pretty good and i dont think it's an expensive tire, so if you need a good reliable tire for all conditions i'd recommend this one

Strengths:Great all round tire. Has excellent grip on all surfaces. Is very predictable when cornering and will not suddendly let go. Has excellent wear charateristics. Excellent puncture resistance.
Weaknesses:2.2 measures 2.1 inches wide on a 17mm wide rim. And the tire weighs 875 grams.
    Similar Products Used:Maxxis
Bottom Line:Great tire for all mountain riding. The 70 sa compound grips better than expected and also gives good durability.
