Strengths:
Nice grip! Climbs well on looser rock. Good enough grip on wet roots. Confident feel leaning into corners.
Weaknesses:
Not enough time to discover any.
Similar Products Used:
A plethora of Specialized tires. Tioga Red Phoenix wire bead (OEM on bike).
Bike Setup:
05 Kona Kikapu w/Reba up front and Float out back.
Bottom Line:
I've only got 4 rides on the tires, but that's been enough time to sample wet and dry. These climb great on loose limestone that is so common in Cen. Tex. Cornering is stable with no squirms. My last ride was in that sick mucky mud that gums up everything. I could feel the tread biting into the mess below and never lost grip. The tires shed the mud great! My buddy was having a terrible time with packed tire treads.
This is a good all around use tire. That was exactly what I was looking for.
