Strengths:
Lets you use a threadless stem on a threaded steerer tube.
Weaknesses:
Predetermined extension length, stems with a tall clamp might extend past the top of this adapter. No biggie though.

Bottom Line:
This is a great little device for someone looking to give a rigid courier style bike more aggressive geometry with a threadless stem. Kudos to Performance for making a product that lets you give some life to older frames. They even make one for 1 inch steerer tubes with an extension that lets you use 1 1/8 stems - that's pretty sweet!
