Favoriate Trail:Bump Track, or Worlds '99 DH
Duration Product Used:6 months
Purchased At:would'nt y'all like to know?
Strengths:Very stocky, adjustabilty, oversized bolts, very sexy desighn.
Weaknesses:bit on the weighty side, if ur a weight freak, but for DH and FR its alright. Dont drop anything too big, unless you adjust the stem so it wont bend... i had it horizontal, had locktite all over the pivot and bolts done up strong, and still managed to have the imprint of the stem on my chin- it slipped on a 6ft drop.
Similar Products Used:Titec, profile (no good), serial killa
Bike Setup:Orange Zero, Psylo XC forks, Chris king headset, FUNN Fatboyslim bars, Raceface Northshore XS, XT shifters/r.deraileur, avid cable 6"
Bottom Line:A very nice stem when put with the FUNN Fatboyslim. Make sure you do it up really tight. I like to have my bars really high, so i can bend my elbows, so i have the stem almost vertical. I ride a hardcore-hardtail, so it takes a lot of stress when i ride hardtail DH. It works well on the drops and the dirt jumps. I give this meaty monster 5 flamin hot ones, despite the 8 stitches it gave me!
