| Strengths: | reasonable weight, stiff, strong, nice looking. This is the Race Lite version. |
| Weaknesses: | none-it does what it's supposed to. |

| Bike Setup: | fuel,mostly stock expcept tire of the day choice, egg beaters, and CK headset; |
| Bottom Line: | It does the job. What else do you want? Some people feel compelled to buy some magnesium piece of crap stem for $150 to replace it becuase it might save some weight. The looks of this are solid too, not as nice as the thomson I had on another bike but works just as well and see no reason to buy an after market one. It seems the Bontrager race lite components on this bike get a bad rap, the sh$t is well designed and it works. I have the cash the to piss away on bike parts but don't see the need to for something like this. |

| Weaknesses: | The tread lock on the screw is too thick making it hard to screw in the stem. |

| Bottom Line: | Nice looking stem. It is only 170gm for 120mm length & 7 degree rise. You can see the quality of that stem is the 1st class. It holds the stemp tight and that is the main function of a stem. I like this stem myself & would like to recommend to my friends. However, it is a little price. |
