the stickers thing is correct. i sprayed some clear acrylic paint on it before i installed it. one secret, apply several coats because crashes may still take some paint off. talk about a great company, too bad the stems don't get enough exposure. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I got mine used from a friend and all the stickers are still intact, with minimal damage to the paint job. Nukeproff has done an outstanding job on this stem. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I have had this stem for 2 months, and couldn't be happier. It is light, not too light but better than most for $30.00. It also has a removable face plate, bad thing is it has three bolts and you have to rotate tightening them, becaise it will turn out uneven if you don't. It has the looks tough. For the price it can't be beaten. | Overall Rating: |

I've had this stem for almost two months now with no problems. It clamps firmly onto the steerer tube and holds my bar in place, what more can you ask for in a stem? It's light, has a removable face plate, has no sharp edges on the clamp, and comes in nice colors. | Overall Rating: |

I have a three bolt stem that developed a crack at the handle bar clamp, WHATS WITH THAT! I didn't even crash on my bike. I noticed it when my bars became too flexy. Stem looks cool but its not worth the sacrifice over safety!!!!! I give low points for a product I feel isn't worth the price. Not Recommended | Overall Rating: |

The first thing that attracted me to this stem was the way it looked. Then I saw the price which was even better. You can't tell me that there is a stem out there that beats this one for the money. I might be mistaken, but I believe it is the only one out there that is black with yellow writing, which matches a number of bikes, including my Attitude Comp. It's not the lightest, but who cares? The only problem I have is that they use stickers instead of decals. That can be easily fixed with a coat of clear lacquer spray.Beat the hell outta' t.u.!!!!

Nuke Proof is a small company in Ada, Michigan. If you know anything about the people that live in Ada, you'd know that they are Dutch. The Dutch are two things: thrifty and detail oriented. This stem costs less and is very durable, in the Dutch tradition. The only drawbacks are the stickers, in that the NUKE PROOF is a tad queer, and the alumninum bolts are too soft, ie. they round out easily. One other note: When tightening the faceplate, make sure you tighten each bolt a bit, and move around until they're all tight. That way each bolt is in use, versus pulling one corner out further than the other...Anyway, it's a good stem, and it's cheap. | Overall Rating: |

I love this stem it is the best stem I have ever tried. It is light strong and looks real cool too. The removable face plate is great and the stickers look preety cool on the black paint job. I also have a rear nuke proof hub that is great. I have tried numerous nuke proof products and haven't been failed yet | Overall Rating: |

Nice stem for the money. as a broke college student, it was a perfect upgrade from my stock heavy piece of junk. its fairly light, triple clamp design, cheap, and looks nice. obviously someone else thought so - i came out of a class to find that some dumb ass had taken it. my azonic bars and manitou fork lay there only attached by the brake cables. cheap enuff so i bought another one. only bad thing is the cheasy name stickers that peel off with time. | Overall Rating: |
