| Strengths: |
Lots of material (overbuilt for some...weighs in at 515gm according to a google search.) You're way behind the axle...good for top-heavy (body-builders...like me, and others with large/heavy pecs and shoulders) people who like to do steep rock faces etc.
Doesn't flex at all (I do use a moto-cross protaper bar) even though it's a top faceplate clamp whick puts pressure on the bolts and is a farley narrow clamping surface compared to direct moto style mount, which are typically farther apart.

| Weaknesses: |
Clamp down threads are the rotor sized bolt width (not sure of tech. desription right now) and not brake bolt and/ or typical stem bolt width (such as this stem)...therefore they easily strip. Knees can hit the bar. 28.6 diameter and not the typical os 31.4 Not quick to re-allign after they are off-center...i.e there are many bolt to tighten and lossen...which can slow down your anxious trail buddies. |

Hammer Stem by Azonic...smiliar stem to hammer by control tec, diabolus ,funn serial killa, dk tank and similiar "shorties". |
| Bike Setup: |
saint, C king, race face, answer, azomic, hadley, sun..etc. |
| Bottom Line: |
nice and stiff, be carefull of how much you tighten the long compresion bolts. Keeps you way back for steeps. knees can hit the bar. have to use a 28.6 bar (moto, chubby by azonic.) |
